The Dark Knight Rises is set to be released by Warner Bros. on July 20, 2012. UPDATE 2/14:THR is reporting that Marion Cotillard (Inception) is in talks to portray what is rumored to be Talia Al Ghul, the daughter of Rh'as Al Ghul, who was played by Liam Neeson in 'Batman Begins.' THR also stated that a French site ' Le Figaro' is reporting that the deal is now official. Batman-news has the (supposedly legit) first set shot of Arkham Asylum: ________________________________________________________________________________________________RUMOR DEBUNKED? Batman On Film is now saying: -Who really knows what or who to believe at this point, but it is possible the Robin rumor was false to begin with. 2/5: RUMOR: Will Robin appear in TDKR? Ain't It Cool News reports that according to officials of certain counties, production crews for TDKR have been scouting areas that would serve as a hideout for Batman's well known sidekick, Robin.

Rather not see Robin. Cheesy and just purely nonsensical.

Robin has been very cool in comics, but the last attempt at him was an epic failure IMO.

Rather not see Robin. Cheesy and just purely nonsensical. Robin is cool in the comics, no reason why I can't work. There are plenty of reasons why it can't work. To name a few obvious ones: -Robin would have to be a 20 something year old...anything else is just nonsensical and nobody wants to see it (Marvel realized this with Captain America: The First Avenger...Bucky is a 20 something year old) -putting a young kid in danger who realistically should not be able to fight any adult male is nonsensical -Costume is horrid -Batman doesn't need a side kick -Explanation and introduction for Robin within one movie (also the last movie) doesn't make sense when they could be focusing on more important characters/aspects -Not everything in comics works well on screen

It is the internet and this kind of garbage happens all the time, so it isn't a surprise to me at all either. Never mind that I don't think Nolan would ever include Robin to begin with. Especially for the last movie of his series. It just doesn't make sense.
