What probe are you referring to?
Also to add more to Crom's post. That's why you have Post-Crisis character like, Superman etc. Because it's a new continuity after Crisis. Superman's first appearance now is in Man of Steel 01 mini and not Action Comics 001.

I would like some help regarding the monitors (looking at soverign/phantom). LOL Ok I'm here. Overmonitor I presume? He is apparently the a wast intelligence that exists outside of creation. Apparently not. The probe is apparently the original Monitor sent over to collect data about the universe. I'm not sure, Krona may have influenced it splitting into Monitor and Anti-Monitor. But that may have also come out the universe's own inlfuence on it. None. They just happened to make their plans at the same time. No. I don't think so, what makes you ask this? Metron, from what I gathered, solved his cube in one move less than is physically possible. This action raped reality enough to restore Nix Uotan and himself. It was symbolic. Mandrakk is, in the end, just a big vampire, and vampires are all weak to sunlight. Who has more light than the GL corps? Don't ask. I'm pretty sure DC doesn't know either. Dead, aside from Nix Uotan. I'm a bit exhausted these days due to exams, so I could probably have worded it better and expanded on it. If anything is unclear, do ask.

I don't think it was the cube that did it.

I don't think it was the cube that did it. I can't recall any other possible cause.

I don't think it was the cube that did it. I can't recall any other possible cause. Right before Metron do that thing with the cube, he remembered Weeja Dell's name and I was thinking maybe it was the memories that made his powers come back although I could be entirely wrong and your explanation sounds better. lol

I assumed the fourth world was hidden from the monitors since it does not have a monitor designated to it. and did'nt zillo valla stop all the time on new earth?should'nt that make these guys abstract level? While i now understand how mandrakk was defeated ,but it was so disappointing.just flash a light at him and he dies and i believe the implication in superman beyond was that it was darkseids fall which unleashed mandrakk upon the multiverse?

Yes it makes more sense now. Glad to hear it. Fourth World isn't a universe per se. More like a pocket dimension. She apparently did it with a device. Now I agree the monitors in FC should be abstract level, but like I said, DC doesn't have a consensus on it. Yeah, I can't disagree. This was certainly never implied in Superman Beyond, the only such implication was Mandrakk's "The dying God left your universe broken." speech in FC7, but he was already out. I guess it's possible, but I don't think there's anything solid (relatively speaking, of course. ) on it.
