I hate how some characters have X-rays that are harder to pull off...Like Cyber Sub Zero is in the air, and others you need to be REALLY close range.
But Kitana's goes across the entire screen LOL

Man, the funniest thing happened when I was playin' this. We did a 2 on 2 tag team match. My partner was a guy who hasn't played a mortal kombat game in his life, I'm still fairly new with the game, in the sense that I really don't know any combos or nothin'. So we went up against these two other guys who definitely got more experience than us, especially considering it was their game. We pick our characters, the match starts. They both start off with half their health. Neither me or my partner knew what or why, but we definitely took advantage of it. Truth be told, I had my partner do most of the work. Wiped the floor with 'em. Two X-rays, an' that's it. And dang, my partner was talkin' so much smack at the end. Made my night.
So yeah, apparently, there are different codes you can input for things like that to happen. I don't know what I hit, neither did he, but still it was funny.

Couple questions:
1) What the hell does Smoke's special move 'Shake' do? 2) When you look at someone's fatality under their moves list, it says either touching, sweep, or jump. What does jump mean? Do you actually have to be jumping to do the fatality, far range, or what?

"1) What the hell does Smoke's special move 'Shake' do?"
I believe it's a counter, but I've only effectively used it once. TBH I ignore the move when I play as him. His teleport, smoke throw, phasing, air throw and combos are good enough for me.
"2) When you look at someone's fatality under their moves list, it says either touching, sweep, or jump. What does jump mean? Do you actually have to be jumping to do the fatality, far range, or what? " Touching means directly next to. Sweep means within tripping distance (so only a few feet). Jumping means you can reach them within a single jump (so a little further than sweeping), and far range means just go as far away as possible.

OK, I figured jump was longer distance. Thanks.
Another question:
I just finished unlocking all of the alternate costumes in the crypt, but what are "alternate damage concepts"?

Alternate damage concept is just art for you to look at. When you're in Nekropolis (or whatever), that green portal in the middle is where you can view all of the concept art/music and such you've unlocked. But to ACTIVATE the costumes, while in Nekropolis, you have to click on each character on display. That also lets you look at the 3d model (you can toggle between damage on/off), read their bios or view the ending again if you've unlocked it. Now to actually USE the alternate costume, press START when you pick the character. Then just press right for costume 2.

Ok thanks. Do you press A to select the character then press start? Or just press start to select the character?

Just press start first. That's how it works on the PS3, so it's fair to assume it will be the same on the 360.

Did that creature pop up while you were searching around the Krypt? I wasn't paying attention the one time it did for me, so it didn't scare me. It kept me on edge, though, because you always hear the footsteps around you.

Lol yeah, it didn't scare me but I was like what the hell is this thing? And did it just steal 1000 koins from me? Undead bastard.

I'm about to play some more right now. I've fully unlocked all the alternates so I'm going to check those out. Maybe do some arcade mode. I'm glad I'm done with Jax's story, I'm not a fan of his.
