point,but if you are fighting any half decent opponent and just use it without thinking first,you will miss 90% of the time
hint - Kano and Jax's X-Rays cant be blocked and they do 40% damage,but it is impossible to kombo into then (unlike the others)

Depending on who you are playing with, say a friend, it can be easy to anticipate when they will use it. But if you are good with it and use it at unexpected times, you can typically land it. For example, every time you block someone's special move, they have a split second 'stunned' phase where they cannot block. You can use X-Ray there 100% of the time. It's just too much a game changer that anyone can do IMO.

Cage has the worst x-ray (in terms of effectiveness) since it needs to be used as a counter.

are you sure about that `stunned`? i dont recall getting hit (or hitting) a X-Ray like that

Ah wait a minute its not entirely that. It's been a while since I've played so I didn't recall correctly. If you play as Scorpion and you spear your opponent, they stand there stunned where you can get you X-Ray off 100% of the time unblockable. I think other characters have similar moves and opportunities.

Also with Scorpion if you get your teleport kick special blocked, you spin in the air for a second where you can't block anything. I think other characters have moves like this as well where you can't block for a second if you are blocked.

the entire point of the spear is to stun though,and i dont think many characters have moves like that

the teleport thing is to prevent spam,it must have a weakness for the sake of balance

He went through several near-death experiences and is actualy one of the few heroes to be still alive,i mean
1) He was luck enough to evade Baraka`s blades,despite thinking they werent real (``for the sake of the show``,apparentely)
2) He actualy evaded Repitile`s acid despite thinking they werent real (again,just for the sake of it)
3) Kano threw him out of the bridge...he managed to hold and climb back
4) Cyrax defeated him in the first Mortal Kombat but chose to not kill him
5) Ermac defeated him in the second Mortal Kombat,but chose to not kill him
6) Raiden saved him from Motaro (in fact,Motaro is the one who killed Cage in the original time-line,but he was bought back to life)
7) Sindel didnt kill him
8) Shao Kahn didnt kill him

I hate fighting games online.Either your opponent is a dick,someone who can't stand losing,or has a shitty connection that makes the game lag and somehow they are better fighting during lag than you are.
