Am I the only one we likes Jeremiah Arkham? I don't like him as much as I like(d) Sionis, but I think he's pretty cool.

Am I the only one we likes Jeremiah Arkham? I don't like him as much as I like(d) Sionis, but I think he's pretty cool. Arkham is more spooky and has the whole joker thing going for him. he owned zsasz too. |

I never got why some people find Black Mask (either Sionis or the new one) neither impressed me really, they both appear second rate compared to other villains.
I don't hate the original Black Mask, I just can't see what's the big deal about him. He's really not impressive in anyway.

Honestly, the only thing appealing about the classic Black Mask was his look. Aside from that, he was a spoiled brat when dealing with his parents company and a total idiot. There was nothing appealing about his personality. The second, though, has some hilarious interactions with others and actually acts like a villainous crime lord. Unlike the first, he has street smarts and knows his boundaries (like when he encountered Slade).

after doing A LOT of research on organized crime, I've come to the conclusion that most comic writers actually don't know shit about organized crime, they just think they do.
But that could be covered by an entire thread so I won't expand on that topic here. Thought I'd be willing to start a thread if asked.
