it's not a real revamp, it's just the same stuff wearing a different suit...

Well, the F4 are technically getting a revamp. I'd like the future foundation idea if Spider-Man didn't have anything to do with it.His new costume is awesome but still....

it's not a real revamp, it's just the same stuff wearing a different suit... It's also adding a team member. Point being, it's no longer simply the F4, changes have been made (as small as they may be). It's still not enough to make me gave a damn about the team, though

Eh this change is the ff4 equivalent of the time Duff Killigan hired an intern to sub as his sidekick on Kim Possible cause Doctor Draken came down with the flu.
long story...

Cyclops. He's been a very static character ever since the beginning. He is the only member of the original team whose powers haven't expanded/altered/mutated/changed at all, and he's had basically the exact same role in the team for his entire life (the only major change is that he is no longer second to Xavier). I'd love to see him get a secondary mutation, have some kind of mid-life personality-altering crisis, become a villian,... anything. It's for this reason that I'm somewhat excited by that promo picture of Scott wearing Magneto's costume.

Sentry - the amount of potential that character had in Marvel Universe that was wasted purely because the writers didn't have the talent or the motivation to properly integrate him into the Avengers was disgusting.
The Defenders - Doctor Strange, Silver Surfer, Hulk, Namor? that team just needs a couple of street level bamfs and it would absolutely rock so many faces. I'd love to see an anti-hero Taskmaster or the new Venom or some others join up with the bigger guns from old school Defenders and you might have a really cool alternative to the Avengers or X-Men in Marvel team books.
Wolverine - The dude needs an honest to God retcon after all the crap Daniel Way has made up in Daken books alone. His origin story has been rehashed and rethought 50 times. It was honestly better as a complete mystery. Old school Wolverine ftw. They need a Superman: Birthright for Wolverine with a better retelling of his origins that fits consistently with his character.
Batman - Needs to be revamped in a "I just realized having a Batman franchise makes me seem like some sort of superhero manager instead of an ass-whopping lurker of shadows". Seriously, whoever came up with that, please go jump up your own ass and die.

Richard Dragon: He's been in the dark for years. Showing up in flashbacks or smaller. This guy need to be sitting right at the top of the martial arts world for DC's 21st century. Thank god 52 deleted Enter the Dragon/Out of the Past.

A list of characters that need some kind of help, wether it be revamp or otherwise.
Bronze Tiger - He just isn't much anymore. Something to set him apart from DC's many martial artists would be nice. Scarecrow - I'm tired of reading about fear toxins, something new please! Killer Croc - I'm tired of seeing him as joke, when he has potential to be a threat. Mr. Freeze - Definately needs something to bring some change to the character.
More as I think of them.

But then if that ends up being true, what would they change his name to? Ruby? So gay. Plus his future daughter already has that name. On a serious note, he did say that he thinks his blasts can come from more than his eyes. Most heroes that end up having names that are irrelevant or stupid just drop them anyway. Power Man, White Queen, Shadowcat, Mr. Fantastic and so on.

no amount of simple power upgrade could make cyclops cool, he needs to be completely rewritten.
