Clarificaiton to those who have not read it:
Tony does hate Otto but for different reasons. The feeling is mutual but Tony never was jealous or felt inferior to Otto. He felt that Otto was a science whore for the military.
Note: Otto and science whore makes me think of a bond girl. Guess who?

No problem. I thought it was a good issue as well. I love Iron Man and the flashbacks kept me interested despite the fact that there was almost no action. So for me, having two interesting stories made up for no Iron Man Smash.

Agree/disagree with the review, Mr. Critic?

Iron Man rarely does any smashing in his on-going, anyways.
I'm about to view the video now, but ckal with a tie has my attention already.

Agree/disagree with the review, Mr. Critic? I liked the review. I think I am more in agreement with you though. I was completely fine with no major fight scenes.

I'm about to view the video now, but ckal with a tie has my attention already. erik- I gave the issue a 4.5/5, and I did enjoy it a lot with the great dialogue and themes between Ock and Stark. I like how I can enjoy it a lot without seeing much action (kudos to the creative team), but felt it would've just been put over the top with a bit more action. Great issue all in all.

I completely understand your score and calling a 4.5 is hardly a low rating. I just agree with k4tz on his rating, though maybe for different reasons.

I really enjoyed the review. You guys seem to become even more comfortable with each other and you play off one another quite well without either one getting too much time over the other. That's cool since it provides a sense of importance to both sides of the equation and retains the interest from the viewer. You also seem to have adjusted well with the time limit which is an added bonus.
As for the review, I agree with both of you, but I got to say that, purely because I've been following Fraction's run from the beginning, he has shown far too much retraint in showing us what this new Iron Man can do. Yes, he's pretty damn fast, but most of the time he does cool things in other books but not his own, which is a shame because Fraction really gets Iron Man. Fraction's run since Tony got the new suit and had his mind restored is too dialogue heavy with some issues not having any battle scenes at all, and while I don't mind that in general, it has happened too many times over the past 10 issues, so it's kind of a regular complaint by now.
That being said, the dialogue here was definitely worth it and the emnity between the two offered for plenty of great scenes. It was a really fun read from start to finish, with a prospect of more good dialogue and actions scenes coming up in the next issue.
All in all, very good stuff, both from the Iron Man, and Comics Ledger creative teams.

erik- OK, I was just clarifying a bit more what I meant by that.
morph- Thanks man. We have actually figured out we can run the videos a bit longer than first expected so that helps as well.
It would be cool to see Fraction really give BE IM some nice feats in his book.

Great review guys. Fractions run on IIM has been great and it's been my favorite title for awhile now (since the lengthy "World's Most Wanted" arc during Dark Reign). I definitely agree with Morpheus that Fraction "gets" Tony. I know to a lot of people, especially those that don't read the book with regularity, that it may seem like too much talk and not enough action at times. That doesn't really bother me personally though. As much as I love a good couple pages of action, Fraction's dialogue and storytelling is more than enough to keep me interested. In any case, I'm definitely looking forward to #502 and beyond. Fraction can stay on IIM as long as he wants!
Again, great review!

norcal- Thanks man. The dialogue definitely was great in #501. I think we may try to do a video review of IIM every month.

The preview for IIM # 502 already had an interaction between Ock and Tony that was LOL worthy.

Good review, and love the structure. You two really play off it well and while it's clear you two have been trying to at least flesh out a format, it still feels natural.
