Saw an interesting theory someone posted on Comicvine.
Did Fantomex really kill Apocalypse or did he just make his teammates think he did? That whole misdirection thing ya know....
This is probably my favorite Marvel book right now.

I was actually thinking that earlier, Jake. I think that's a strong possibility.
Another thing I was wondering...in issue #3, he made Death and Pestilence fight each other right? By having Death thinking he was fighting Wolverine, and Pestilence thinking she was fighting Fantomex. I just want to make sure because it's a little confusing (especially since this is the only comics I have read Fantomex in).

At the very least it gives them an out to bring Apocalypse back later.
I think so yeah. Fantomex was a Morrison creation and he can be kind of confusing.

True.
Ohh OK. Yeah the last couple issues were a little confusing because all of a sudden he will reveal what has been going on is a misdirection, then I have to kind of back track to find out when the misdirection started, and what's going on.
But I still loved it, though.

I see. Do you have any arcs with him from that time to suggest?

I see. Do you have any arcs with him from that time to suggest? Sure. New X-Men # 128-130 was his debut, and he later reappeared in "Assault On Weapon Plus", New X-Men # 139-145.

Nice. Thanks. I will try and check them. I recommend Morrison's entire New X-Men run, anyway. (New X-Men # 114-154)

Yeah, I have heard good things about it. I am not a big X-Men but I might check it.

Yeah, I have heard good things about it. I am not a big X-Men but I might check it. I'd call it an X-Men run that is more likely to appease people who aren't big X-Men fans. ;D

Uncanny X-Force is one of my most anticipated books every month. So far they've all (#1-5) been very solid for story, writing and art. I agree that Fantomex is a badass and I'm really enjoying his character in this title. I knew very little about him before I started reading this and have only seen him crop-up in a few other things I've read. Definitely a character I'm interested in seeing more of though.
Interesting theory about Apocalyplse too. It definitely gives them at least one solid "out" if and when they bring him back.

OR what the basic storyline is?

I'm just now starting X-force with Uncanny X-force 5.1. I like it so far.
