So, what is your opinion on the new X-Force series and the new roster?
It's off to a great start, I think.

I would agree. Wait a bit and I'll upload the preview for the upcoming issue.
PS - Fantomex rocks.

It was a top notch first issue. Lets hope the next one is up to par.

I thought it was awesome. A lot of fun to read. Hopefully they are all like this and it keeps up.
Btw, I think the team is great.

Yes. Not bad, but not nearly as good as # 1, either.

I enjoyed issue 2 but new villains making their debuts in such fashion have always been a sore point with me.

I enjoyed issue 2 but new villains making their debuts in such fashion have always been a sore point with me. Seemingly unstoppable villains trashing the heroes easily only to be beaten in a couple of issues, you mean?
Yeah, that bothers me, very much, as well.

I feel like Deadpool is wasting a space. He really has no stake in their mission.

I would agree. He doesn't really add anything neither in terms of personality, nor in terms of set of abilities that could be of use to the team. He's essentially identical to Wolverine, only worse, in just about everything.

I wish the series would be renamed Ultraviolent X-Force for obvious reasons.

This volume is less gory than the previous one, so far.

Well its the only Marvel comic I've been keeping up with...well I see say that but I haven't read it since around 24-6. After the Selena thing. I'd like to continue with it soon and maybe start on The Immortal Iron Fist.

How long is this X-Force going to last? I mean it seems pretty fast paced.. which usually mean a short run.. but I could be wrong..
Also once they (maybe) defeat Apocalypse.. does anyone think the team will go after a new threat?
And who thinks Cyclops is going to find out about X-Force? Do anyone think Scott is going to use all his power to stop Wolverine's Team? Will this be a major moment then X-Force run?
Does anyone think the Team will appear in an/some Marvel event?
One thing that's been bugging me about Fantomex and Deadpool.. Both are not mutants right.. and they both said that there only in it for the money.. so if thing got tough does any think that they would bail? or there will a heroic moment and both risk more then they usually would and not for the money but because it was the right thing?

I read the first arc of the current title. The first Marvel title I have read in years. I have to say that I liked it. Of course I haven't read the previous ones so I can't make the comparison. The art was great and the story was good IMO. Fast-paced I must say. One thing I need someone to explain to me. Fantomex's misdirection ability, is it some kind of telepathic ability or something else? Btw Fantomex was awesome lol
@mavfan626: I think that Fanotomex was stated to be mutant at some point in the past. Don't remember exactly when right now though.

I'm loving this title. I've never been into the X-Men much and I haven't read and X-Force before, but this is great stuff. Great writing, and that artwork is good too.
I've never read anything with Fantomex, but the guy is awesome, and a beast. His whole misdirection thing is a little confusing to me, but I think I get it. He used it several times in the last two issues so maybe that is why. I want to clarify...his misdirection just creates illusions that other people see. So basically, this entire mission was saved because of Fantomex creating illusions the entire time. He's a powerhouse.
Also, I am sick and tired of the good guys letting the bad guys off the hook because they have a sudden stroke of guilt or sadness about killing a bad guy. You don't know how much that pisses me off and annoys me, because it is such an obvious plot device to keep the story going. But, it is a poor one because it is so predictable. HUGE PROPS to Fantomex, and Remender for that matter, for putting Apocalypse down for good. I was so happy to see that happen. Hell, even Wolverine pussied out, and that is ridiculous. It was almost ruined for me, until Fantomex took care of it. Now, I absolutely love it.
Can't wait for the next issue/arc!

Yeah if it wasn't for Fantomex the Horsemen would have defeated them. Yeah but is he down for good? This is what I want to know. But I agree with ckal on that.
