Deadpool and the bag was funny.
Good conclusion

Missed the last 2 issues due to my shop not having them. To the Fury-copter!

That sucks Fury! You've got to have a talk with them! Sounds like they may need to increase their ordering!

I found # 20 today. The .1 issue didn't interest me.

You're not really missing anything with the .1 issue IMO. It's just a set-up for the AoA book that is spinning out of the Dark Angel Saga arc. It really had nothing to do with X-Force. Glad you found #20!

For many of us our LCS will only ever order to keep 4 or 5 "store" copies of a title ( superman, Batman, Spiderman, X-men the exceptions). If you aren't prepared to pre order and pay 3 months in advance ( and give three months notice to cancel) don't expect to get what you want if you don't visit the store the day I arrives or after.

UXF #20 was some trippy shit. I read that issue when I was kinda buzzed last night too. Art sucked. Bring the other guy back!!

I've had it on my hold slot for ages but lately they just haven't had the inventory. It amazes me how often I hear people saying I couldn't get X issue these days. Considering how much all comics publishers are chasing sales, you'd think they'd adopt a more aggressive marketing policy. If they made their products sale or return, they'd probably sell a lot more product as Comic shops would be afraid of getting stuck with product. The only stores I know of that are always well stocked are in the centre of major cities. No way am I driving an hour and half through grid lock traffic just to buy my monthlies. And as I only visit Sydney once a year or so on Holidays (12 hrs away or 1.5 hr flight) I'm not getting to Kings comics often either (though I HAVE to check it out every time I'm passing through just for the merchandise). I suppose I could take up Kings on their mail out offer but with what they charge for postage I could buy almost another 7 comics.

Yeah, some of this shop's policies confuse me.

What does everyone think of the current arc featuring Fantomex on trial so far?

I haven't been able to get into these issues....art sucks and I don't like the inclusion of Capt Britain and his corps at all. Doesn't seems like anything the UXF should be dealing with.

Totally agree! I've been having difficulty getting excited about the current arc as well. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't just me! The whole thing seems pretty forced. I'll be glad when X-Force gets back to actually killing the people that need to be killed.

I flipped through the issue at the store and the art was a MAJOR turn-off.

I flipped through the issue at the store and the art was a MAJOR turn-off. I agree, but I could tolerate that art much better if the story was even a little stronger. It's a bad combination of a weak story and art that is not to my taste right now. I guess every issue / arc can't hit it out of the park. I have faith that Remender will turn it around.

Not liking what I'm seeing from his Secret Avengers either. I think I'll hold off on both books until these arcs are done, which is a real shame since both were two of my favorites that I actually followed each month, until recently.

Yeah, the Circle of Four thing going on over at Venom is very "meh worthy" too.

Wonder if Remender is just being spread too thin with Uncanny X-Force, Secret Avengers and Venom? Maybe none of the titles are getting the attention they deserve. I was stoked for the Circle of Four arc and after the first 2 parts I honestly couldn't care less about it. I'll be dropping Venom again after this arc. I'm especially irritated about UXF and SA though, they've both been in my "Top 3" since their #1's. To see the quality dropping off really sucks.

OK coming off of the lackluster Trial of Fantomex / Otherworld arc I have to say that Uncanny X-Force has turned it around. The last two issues (#25 and #26) have been really good. I just put #26 down and the next chapter can't get here fast enough! If you liked UXF before but dropped it after The Dark Angel Saga, I would say now is the time to get back onboard. Pick up these past 2 issues if you can.
