Not a bad episode. And I liked the nod to that DC character at the end.

I know I said I'd watch this because I'm a total Darkseid-New Gods freak, but I really can't bring myself to care about Smallvile anymore.

Have you watched any of this season?

Bits and pieces. The "blur" annoys me, the costume annoys me, Clark's borderline emoness annoys me, lack of actual Smallvile annoys me and... I think that's about it.

I can agree about some of them, especially the lack of actual of Smallville although this has been happening a lot in the last ferw seasons.

I can agree about some of them, especially the lack of actual of Smallville although this has been happening a lot in the last ferw seasons. I think that the producers have learned the wrong lessons from previous attempts at the super hero concept. They seem to believe that because shows like the Flash failed the only way fr a lasting success in mainstream media is to make it a less long johns affair. Of course the reason why Flash failed was actually because they didn't make it heroy enough. the ratings at the end of the series were actually OK once they started to introduce the idea of a costumed and powered super villain.

Saw the finale. It was good even though I didn't agree with everything there. Never really cared about Clark donning the suit, but since he did it, they could at least show a full shot of him with it. The ending scene was exactly as I thought it would be.

They never had the rights to show the full suit. That's why they couldn't show it all on him. The ending was how me and a few friends thought it'll be like.

Never had the rights? DC could not just let them show it?

It's what I heard. Different people have different rights and such, I think.

I am trying to find the suit online but I cannot tell what is fan art and what is the actual shot of the suit.

Hmmm.... That is less than I expected really. Not that it does not look good but it looks more like clothing than the "armor" type look that super hero movies are sporting lately.

I guess this is true, about the rights. Well anyway, didn't really care about that.
