Fox is going to be pulling this until the end of time. Let the rights come close to reverting back to Marvel, then rush another movie into production to hang onto the property. Expect it to happen 10 years after the next shitty flop comes out.

Why do people only cite Twilight? He also directed 30 Days of Night.
As for Twilight, the concept is too lame for me to watch, but what is bad from a directing standpoint...?

Aside from the story, characters and setting being terrible on every level (something that isn't the director's fault since Twillight first started shitty novels)
The movie had terrible pacing, build up. Many of the camera shots were pretty terrible. And so much blandness and time wasted with pointless padding.

The dude who played Kingpin was great. Best thing ever. Everything else about the first Daredevil movie was "ehh" for me. It was really one of the reasons I avoided getting into his comics for a while. I was just bored most of the time. Might have been my maturity level, though. Movies involving dark, broody things didn't interest me back then. Either way, I hope this one's better, but if it's not, then it won't be that big a deal to me.

I would like Michael Clarke Duncan to reprise his role as Kingpin here. He did a good job and is a good actor, really the only good thing about the first DD movie.
