I've seen physics breaking stuff but I draw the line at a costume that 1) you can't really see with and 2) should kill you via blood loss.

PIS causes so many problems it is ridiculous. It can be a main weakness of comics. Don't get me wrong here...good stories need to have a good plot lines/devices/twists. Plot devices can be great and work very well in a story. But I'm talking about ones that are well thought out, planned, and are an essential part of a story. Not ones that make you go..."Oh come on! That is absurd," and the only reason they are around is to make a quick end to the arc.
example: I agree with what Darkness said earlier, even starving Galactus should never be beaten by most beings. He is an abstract entity, come on!
Also, there should be no excuse for Writer Induced Stupidy...ever. That is inexcusable.
Characters dying and coming back is so over used and such a gimmick (to increase sales) now it isn't even interesting at all. We all know they are going to come back, so can you at least think of something else that is at least interesting? Sure, if you want to make Bucky Captain America or Grayson Batman that's fine, but there are more clever ways to do this than just killing them.

The Fact that people write about characters and culture's they have no knowledge of leading to bad character decisions and stereotypes.

well, that I can understand and don't necessarily disapprove, they're trying to make own of their characters popular. I suppose that makes sense. I can't hate on that. Another thing I hate, People completely changing characters from what they were originally meant to be. Granted I'm sure this works sometimes but I'm referring to Drastic changes.

Throwing in a few of my pet peeves
1) Good writers with bad artists 2) Good artists with bad writers 3) Deus Ex Machina resolutions 4) Writers/editors/creators who think fans are idiots ("It's magic, we don't have to explain it") 5) Needless deaths for shock value (I saw it elsewhere and agree with it) 6) Inane stories to explain why a dead character returns ("Sure he was shot dead on the stairs of the courthouse, but he was really lost in time") 7) "No Body, No Death" - It's too old and too over-used, even in the Fantastic Four

I hate when writers/editers make a character go insane or crazy in order to make them edgy or cool or to boost sales, at the expense of character developement.

4) Writers/editors/creators who think fans are idiots ("It's magic, we don't have to explain it") Sorry, couldn't resist. But I do have to point out that sometimes, NOT explaining can be the better decision, what with the retarded shite we get saddled with otherwise- Case in point: George Lucas throwing in Midichlorians (am I spelling it right?) in Episode I. Yeah, I know, non-comics example, but it's the best I can come up with right now. One of my big peeves about comics (in addition to most of what was mentionned before): The "Reed Richards Is Useless" problem. So-called "geniuses" who are ostensibly "good guys" who regularily use their scientific know-how to save the day time and again against fantastic threats, and yet can't be bothered to use those abilities to solve their world's more mundane problems. There is not reason you can cure an alien pan-dimensional reality-bending plague yet can't cure cancer or AIDS. Yeah, I know, there are justifications (both editorial/creative and in-comic) for this, but most of the in-comic ones are straight-out arsepulls. It's a cousin of the Sorcerer's Paradox. For a lenghtier explanation of the trope: tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ReedRichardsIsUselessAttachments:
