Sergei Kravinoff will attempt to take down T'Challa starting in issue #519. The two-issue run will by written by David Liss and illustrated by Jefte Palo. Remarks from Liss: And it's nice to see Liss has done his research on T'Challa's history with the Kravinoffs. Will you guys be reading this? Thoughts on the story? I, for one, am happy to see Kraven stepping away from the title of"just another Spider-Man foe." I've previously suggested I think his motives and newfound power would make for an interesting story in the right hands, and I'm glad to see Liss is not only having Sergei hunt someone extremely worth, but also treat him with respect by referring to him as someone driving by honor. However, Storm's involvement has me scratching my head a bit. It's going to take some massive jobbing or plot devices for Kraven to stand any remote chance against her in any kind of direct encounter. Here's hoping for the best!

I know this was released some time ago, but I think it has the potential for some good discussions.
Come to think of it, we should probably get moving on creating a topic for the majority of the early solicitations...lol

After reading those statements, I have high hopes for it.

The encounters with Storm absolutely have to be circumtancial, such as he attacks her via stealth when she's unaware, or happens in populated areas, etc.
Regardless, how can I not be excited by the prospect of Sergei and a de-powered/de-uber tech'd T'Challa?!

Storm probably gets incapacitated by poison or something.
I am unfamiliar with Black Panther's current equipment, what is he currently running?

Last I saw he was rather low tech.

Is he still rocking his Anti-Metal Claws? I see he has some armor, anything else? Does he have his energy daggers or anything at all?

I don't believe so. After all, the writer says (quoted in OP) "Black Panther no longer has any special powers or tech,"
One can assume energy daggers fall under tech.

I think it would be interesting to see them team up in Africa to take down poachers like the Planeteers only with killing.
Is he still the Man without Fear or has Matt retaken the title?

Wonder why storm is in town...BP already doesn't want help from anybody. This should have some really good h2h feats from BP since i dont see him using any tech against Kraven.
