Some pretty big news here for some of DC's biggest heroes.
First off, according to the LA Times, Jeff Robinov (the president of Warner Bros.) has mentioned his plans for tent pole films to replace the 'Harry Potter' franchise which will be concluding this year.
So, it starts this summer with 'Green Lantern', continues next year with 'Superman: Man of Steel' and 'The Dark Knight Rises,' and moves onto 2013 with a Justice League movie. But, here is where things get interesting. In an article with Hero Complex, Robinov also stated that scripts for the 'Flash' and 'Wonder Woman' are being written, which could spin off into their own movies after 'Justice League.' When asked about a Wonder Woman TV show and movie being out at the same time, Robinov had this to say:
Here is where Robinov drops the bomb though, which is the first in line of a few:
OK, you may have been expecting that might happen. But, this leads directly into another issue involving the 'Justice League' film. Apparently, the 'Justice League' movie will not have anything to do with Zack Snyder's Superman, Christopher Nolan's Batman, and presumably, Martin Campbell's Green Lantern movies/franchises. In an interview with HeyUGuys, when asked about how the 'Justice League' movie plans, and how his Superman would fit in with it, he had this to say:
Kinda cool? Well, that's for all of you to decide. What do you think about these decisions? Is it a good idea for 'Justice League' to be a stand alone film from the already established 'Superman,' 'Batman,' and 'Green Lantern' movies, with different actors and all? Is a 'Justice League' movie even a good idea to begin with? What do you think about rebooting 'Batman' after Nolan's third, and final Batman film, 'The Dark Knight Rises?'

His most immediate hurdle is filling the void that will be left this summer when the multibillion-dollar "Harry Potter" series shepherded by Horn ends. Robinov is betting on DC Comics characters to take center stage starting in June with the $200-million-plus production "Green Lantern."
He's then aiming to release new "Batman" and "Superman" films in 2012 and "Justice League," a teaming of DC's top heroes, in 2013.

Wonder Woman could be a film as well, the same way that ‘Superman Returns’ came out while ‘Smallville’ was on
Here is where Robinov drops the bomb though, which is the first in line of a few:
We have the third Batman, but then we’ll have to reinvent Batman…Chris Nolan and [producing partner and wife] Emma Thomas will be producing it, so it will be a conversation with them about what the next phase is.

It doesn’t. Like what Chris Nolan is doing and what I’m doing with Superman, what they’ll do with Justice League will be it’s own thing with it’s own Batman and own Superman. We’ll be over here with our movie and they’ll kinda get to do it twice which is kinda cool.
