The former Governor of California spoke to Entertainment Weekly about his plans for a new cartoon and comic book called "The Governator," saying, "When I ran for governor back in 2003 and I started hearing people talking about 'the Governator,' I thought the word was so cool."
The superhero project is being co-created by comic-book legend Stan Lee. "The Governator is going to be a great superhero, but he'll also be Arnold Schwarzenegger," said Stan. "We're using all the personal elements of Arnold's life."
What do you guys think? ;D

If Stan Lee writes it, it will be gold.

I seriously dislike Arnold Schwarzenegger. Think I'll be passing on this one. Do you dislike him as an actor or as a politician?

Just thinking out loud, has there ever been a Superhero that was also a politician?

Ex Machina is a comic about a superhero giving up his superhero identity to become mayor of New York. Does that count? During his tenure as mayor he does have to put on his costume and go a-fighting.

Yeah that counts, Mayor are borderline politicians I think the concept of a Superhero/Politician is pretty cool..

Politics and the sentence "flame in peace" don't go together IMO.

Politics and the sentence "flame in peace" don't go together IMO. Arsonists would disagree.

I know people like Namor and BP aren't what you were really aiming for, but I honestly couldn't think of any superheroes who had also been a senator or congressman or governor or something.

He was? Didn't know that.
But then, there's a lot in DC that I don't know.

Firehawk from DC was a senator, IIRC.
Now Arnold voice acting? That's stripping of the best aspects of Arnold and giving us the worst. Bad idea. My guess is it'll work as much as Pam Anderson's attempt to cash in on self-deprecation, Stripperella.

Oliver Queen was mayor. Green Arrow was not. Last time I checked, they were the same person.
