Hmmm..... Not sure how I feel about that. I suppose I could chalk it up to a lucky break but I am sure that was not the intentional direction of the story. The intentional direction of the story, as was the intentional direction of the whole series when Dan Slott took over, was, among a buncha other things, Pym being heavily underrated as someone who should be taken seriously, and him getting his time to shine. Practically everyone was doggin' on him half the time, except for the rag tag group of Avengers that had his back. As a scientist, Richards outclassed him, as an inventor/engineer Stark beats him, he's not really all that into the super hero thing like most other Avengers, yet in spite of all that he became Scientist Supreme, and to this day, he lives and strives to be someone worth mentioning. And that sorta character progression is still happening with him in Avengers Academy. But yeah, you can still call it a lucky break. Either way, Pym won, an' even though I'm not really that much of a fan of the dude, I'm glad it happened that way.

I'd love to see an event or something cause a rift between Tony Stark & Reed Richards. This would lead to a nice story where the two match wits. That would be cool, but I doubt it'll top Richards vs Pym. Bah it should be Deathstroke vs Pym,we all know Slade's track record against little people.

I would like to see Doom versus Lex in an out-make-the-superheroes-look-dumb-off. This times a hundred. Also, Dan Slott made Pym awesome.
