OK Just got my issue of 50 yesterday. It wasn't as bad as the discussions on DC boards had led me to believe, but is continuing to portray the JSA out of character. I will say that at least jay is receiving decent treatment character wise. My biggest problem with it was the Art. i mean seriously, what were they trying to achieve with the look in the flash backs to America v JSA tale. The art wasn't even that childish in the simple artwork of the GA.

OHHH MY GOD !!!!Why did I do it? why did they do it? I wasn't going to but I finally caved and bought the last few issues to Justice Society of America. Every bit of vitriol I've ever thrown at Winnick for his treatment of some of my favorite characters Like Green Arrow, I now withdraw and throw ten fold on that @#$@#@@$#@ hack Guggenheim. Winnick is a great writer compared to Guggenheim who should NEVER be allowed near another comic as LONG AS HE LIVES. HE KILLED ALAN SCOT, yes it was a self sacrifice but WHY, what possible benefit? ? I swear if I see his name mentioned in relation to any character I like again I will ban for like the publisher that does it. OK blood pressure approaching normal, the danger of a stroke or heart attack is almost past - Breeaath breeeeaaath much better.

I haven't read past Justice Society # 26 but I loved pretty much everything until that point. Lots of characters I really liked to pick a favourite, but Mr Terrific, Dr Md-Nite, Alan Scott, Sand, Starman, and Wildcat stood out. Hopefully I'm not forgetting anyone else.

Didn't that get retconned just now? ;D For the first time since the announcement of the relaunch I'm glad it's happening (there's at least a chance I'll get an Alan back)

I can't get how Alan could die seeing that he's basically pure energy, but anyway, I guess it's Guggenheim so I got to shut down my mind. I'll read it myself at some point.

Thank you Johns for brining him and Superboy back in Legion of Three Worlds. Ignore everyone else about the retcon. Only retcon I didn't like was Hal being around.
