IIRC, Brando got payed around 10 million dollars for 10 minutes on screen. Talk about a bargain.

First time I hear about this actor. So Zod will be in the movie. Can't say that I am very excited about it. I just hope he will only be shown in flashbacks about Krypton and not be the main villain again. I would prefer for someone like Brainiac to be the villain. Superman has a lot more villains than just Luthor and Zod, movie producers!!! lol

I think Brainiac's appeal does not lie with his charming personality, honestly. Here's a guy who is very much smarter than Superman, as strong as Superman, had a hand in Krypton's destruction, has Kara (and every other Kryptonian) scared sh!tless of him, flies around planets, takes samples from them, before forcing their suns to go supernova and annihilate anything in proximity. For lack of a better word, he's a monster. His MO was kind of like Galactus, only he craved for knowledge, not sustenance. So if you introduce him as the primordial evil, the fear of which runs deep within all Kryptonians, he could work as an unstoppable force which would counteract the fact that his personality is blunt.

Never seen Returns. Blame the reviews. But I have it on my computer with a prospect to see it.
