Well they are not replacements for the old villains. They are teenagers that are inspired by the old villains if I read ckal's article right.

I don't know why they picked Bullseye. Lady Bullseye already fits that description perfectly. (young person inspired by said villain)

If someone gets inspired by Loki I hope they put forth a mythological being.

If someone gets inspired by Loki I hope they put forth a mythological being. Why? You're not going to read it anyway

Why? You're not going to read it anyway Just because I won't read it doesn't mean I don't want a character I like to be written well or that I don't hope does we do read it get a story they like.

But it's related to Loki so again I'd like a good idea. Like maybe a wily demon we haven't seen before

It's going to be a gothic/emo teen.
And when that happens, I shall let out a mighty lulz.
But really, I guess we'll wait and see.

But why would they when they could make a emo kid who is more powerful angsty. Just like they couldn't let the fucking god of thunder actually kick Sentry's ass, no. Sentry wanted to die...

But this is not about big names. This is about nobodies inspired by big names who want to change the world. An actual demon would not really play to that idea.

This is about nobodies inspired by big names who want to change the world. An actual demon would not really play to that idea. Why not? He's never appeared in Marvel, therefore he is a nobody in the Marvel universe. And with a rich mythology, it opens up for further stories if he is written well And he'd follow the theme of Loki and the Asgardians, actual mythological beings.

How would a demon correlate to being a teenager inspired by a past villain?

How would a demon correlate to being a teenager inspired by a past villain? Hindu demons (and everyone else for the matter) are constantly reborn and reincarnated, because of the concept of Darma. Ravana was slain by Shiva at some point ressurected and then sought to atone to Shiva and in the process gained further divine power. However afterward, he turned to cruelty again becoming emperor of the Asuras and Devtas. Therefore he sinned willingly against Shiva and Brahma again dooming himself to anothe reincarnation. Unless he usurps Shiva and Brahma Have the one that appears be the next reincarnation. And the earlier incarnations (the real world myths) serve as backstory to give him props and explanation why he is inspired by Loki to war the lord of the Gods (or the Hindu gods at least) again. And since he would be a reincarnation, he can be a teenager while leaving all sorts of possibilities for later stories.

Oooookay. How does Hindu correlate to Norse mythology?

Oooookay. How does Hindu correlate to Norse mythology? How does greek mythology corelate the Japanese mythology? There is no actual correlation, yet Amatsu-Mikaboshi still attacked Olympus in Marvel. Marvel assumes many mythologies coexist inside the same verse. So this could be the same kind of deal. Loki is something of the ultimate divine trickster and traitor in Marvel. Ravana might find the inspiration to make a bid for emperor of the gods again. And since in Marvel more then one mythology exists. That means he'd likely have to kill Odin and Zeus as well since they are the most powerful sky-fathers we've seen so far and they would stand in his way, as would Shiva and Brahma

That is not what I am asking. I never asked how someone from one mythology can attack the other. I asked why a Hindu demon would be inspired by a Norse god?

I asked why a Hindu demon would be inspired by a Norse god? Because they are both divine tricksters (Ravana is more then a demon), many faced trying to usurp control of the universe. Loki's come far closer to accomplishing this goal then him. And he's done it in cool ways. He might see one upping Loki as a challenge. Or maybe how Loki came so close to succeeding last time might inspire him to take another shot a Shiva and becoming Divine Emperor to bring about the second age of Demons.

I do not see that being interesting, nor it making sense in all honesty.
