Misconception: Current Thor = Classic Thor. (Someone needs to start proving that then because current Thor, while still powerful, is nowhere near as impressive as Classic Thor.)

There's really no difference, the only thing that made him different from classic was the thor force, the only difference is this isn't the 70's where everyone can have feats like that daily.

well,Roshi destroyed the moon (in Dragon Ball, wich lacked consistency) and Kid Buu destroyed the Earth at the series ending also,Cell stated he could blow up the solar system and Vegeta stated he could destroy the planet thats all btw,Kratos wasnt killed because he fell from Mt.Olimpus....Poseidon took worst and wasnt injured,Kratos is far more powerfull than Poseidon This only makes matters more confusing. Are they planet busters or not? Also what about the random galaxy-busting claims? Frieza during Namek Saga fired a blast at the Core of Namek, which apparently after destroyed makes the planet explode. The whole process took 5 minutes to actually destroy the planet. During Buu Saga, Kid Buu destroyed the Earth. Now throughout the series you have claimed planet busting attacks and some outright hyperbole that people try to debate is true. Cell/Andriod Saga: Claimed planet busters: Vegeta charges up an attack that has Trunks freaking out the planet is about to explode. He condenses said attack to vaporize half the portion of Cell that was in the blast range, planet was still there. Goku charging up his attack had the characters thinking he was going to destroy the planet, at the cost of destroying Cell. He choked and stopped, not planet buster here. Cell in 2nd Form's self destruct- The cast believed it was going to destroy the Earth, instead Goku teleports himself along with Cell to a planet smaller than a house and it destroys that and nearly vaporizes all of Goku save a few cells for Cell to absorb and return himself to the Earth with gained knowledge. I think they also made a claim that the final blast off between Gohan and Cell was going to destroy the Earth if Gohan didn't win, don't quote me on that. Hyperbole: Cell claims he's gathered enough energy to destroy the Solar System. The problem is, he never shows a fraction of that power after the claim and even admit's to not knowing the full extent of his own power, much less shows the abilitiy to fire an attack that large. So to sum that claim up, COMPLETE BULL. Buu Saga: Claimed: Don't remember any claimed planet busting attacks other than Piccolo telling Gotenks to becareful so he doesn't destroy the planet in his fight with Buu. Hyperbole: Anime claims Buu can destroy the universe and has filler of him destroying 3 planets while the narration talks about him busting galaxies. It was a flash back regardless and 3 planets blown up don't = galaxy. The Manga says his destruction count was 700 hundred planets over some odd amount of years before being sealed. To some it up, a lot more talk, not so much evidence to ever make the claim they could bust anything more than a planet. which I honestly thing they could put out at the end of the series, problem is I also think attack with that kind of power would kill them aswell in the resulting explosion. So in otherwords I believe at best they threw around attacks far less lethal than the destructive force to destroy the planet. Think I answered that.

I know the they are the same character, but the difference in power levels is noticeable. To be fair though, as you alluded to, look what he was competing against.

Gender: Thanks. That actually did clear that up. No problem. They do have some power behind them, just not as much as people tend blow them out of proportion on the internet to have, which I entirely blame the anime's dubbing for.

Halo is a bad fighter - In all actuality, She is a pretty decent fighter with her powers, especially in the defensive areas. Her diversity should also be note, but her offensive is a bit lacking in comparisson. That doesn't mean she is a bad fighter though, or anywhere near it. Not to mention she has H2H skills via Batman as well.

Misconceptions: Rhino is dumber than a bag of cement, and gets his horn stuck in walls every day. Captain America can KO the Hulk with his shield. Everything Wolverine ever does is PIS because he's popular. Avoiding getting hit by gunfire makes you a legit bullet-timer.

The whole bullet-timing thing especially gets on my nerves. People just don't understand that there is a major difference between moving quickly enough to throw off a gunman's aim, and moving out of the way of a bullet that's already headed right at you. I've spent entire paragraphs trying to explain it, but people still think "A guy shot at him but he didn't get hit. He's a total bullet-timer!!"

@strafe: Any misconceptions regarding Geo-Force you would like to note? here are a few. Geo-Force has Bad Druability - This is wrong. His durability is quite good as he taken bullets and blunt impact from Kryptonian level fighters. The fact that he can be pierced by swords and such is just like Wonder Woman, but it doesn't take away from his ability to take hits in combat. Geo-Force isn't a very good strategist - This is also incorrect. Geo-Force is the king of a country and has been raised and trained since childhood about how to do the best with whats given. He also has beent he leader of the Outsiders twice and showed his leadership and strategic potential. I also did one about his fight with Deathstroke a few pages back.

I have to tell most people that every single time it comes up. Suddenly avoiding getting a bullet in you means you can outrun one or dodge one after it had been fired. It is ridiculous.
