It seems that Joss Whedon is having a hard time with stunts in the upcoming Avengers movie. Avengers movie will be drawing heavily from the Ultimates book so Whedon is reported to be in regular phone contact with Bryan Hitch. Other sources say that the Avengers start out fighting one another and towards the end of the movie, they band together against a common foe. There is also speculation that the battle ground towards the end is on a starship or some kind of space craft that breaks apart during the battle. This could be seen as either a helicarrier battle or the Skrull invasion in the Ultimates series. What do you think Ledgers?

Having this movely loosely based on the events of Millar's Ultimates vol 1 and 2 is the best thing this movie can do. Glad to see that's likely the case.

I think that is probably the best possible option. Ultimates seem more grounded in reality anyway and having a movie based on that is a mega step in the right direction.
