Here's a first look at the art for Disney XD's' Ultimate Spider-Man' cartoon. As you can see, it was pushed back to a 2012 release date. I'm guessing that's to help further promote the 2012 release of the fim 'Amazing Spider-Man.' The writer behind Batman TAS and LOST, Paul Dini, will team up with Brian Michael Bendis to collaborate with Man of Action Studios (Ben 10) to create the wall crawler's newseries. Ledgers, how do you feel about this art and the creative team behind the show?

Dini is good, but Bendis as of late has sucked. I'm a bit worried, to be honest.

Honestly, I'm keeping an open mind but I sincerely doubt it will live up to Spectacular Spider-Man.

I did not really like Spectacular Spider-Man. The voice actor made Parker sounds too "cool". Like a trendy teen in a cereal commercial or something.

I do not think he sounded cool. I think he sounded "cool". As in he was trying to sound cool. It seemed forced. Just like silly commercials. Obviously he is reading from a script but it does not have to sound like it.
But to be fair, I never got into the show because the voice acting turned me off. I think I only watched the pilot.

I am a harsh critic when it comes to television and movies. In fact, I should be a professional critic with how I pan an entire series based on details.

This show is gonna suck, for a few reasons.
1- It isn't TSSM. 2- JK Simmons is far better as Jonah in live action then as a voice actor. 3- Bendis.

Lol I loved it! Parker never says a word. But on a serious note, how did Parker not wake up? I can understand the symbiote cushioning Parker completely so he never feels a thing but all the falling he did would have shocked him awake. Anyone seen Inception?

If the thing can form a gut-mouth on Eddie Brock's stomach, it can keep Peter asleep while fighting

If the thing can form a gut-mouth on Eddie Brock's stomach, it can keep Peter asleep while fighting A gut-mouth does not prevent gravity from affecting our equilibrium. It does when you're an alien. Also, did I mention comic book logic yet? No? COMIC BOOK LOGIC.
