Could anyone enlighten me about current Herc? =] As far as I know, he's lost all of his powers (but how or why I don't remember). Now he's doing all of his hero stuff as a street leveler. I don't know much about his physical stats but I would assume he's probably Olymipic level across the board (which would actually be pretty cool and symbolic, since Hercules invented the Olympics), and he has been using classic Ancient Greek weaponry like bows/arrows, shield, short sword, ect. A few scans of his fighting feats have already been posted in this thread. He has above human strength still.

As far as I know, he is not classified yet but a steel support beam falling on him from a collapsing construction site was stopped under his own strength before he was buried beneath all the rest of the building. To lift a beam of that size from the ground requires at least peak human. To stop one falling on you from a distance requires a great deal more because gravity adds force to the falling mass.

Thanks for the info guys. Assuming strength is the only thing he has above DD, then i think i'll give this to Matt. =]

Anyone have other Herc combat feats?

After reading Hercules #1 I'd put his physical attributes at the very least on par with Captain America. He doesn't have his godly powers but not too many people would be shrugging off bullets wounds and holding up steel girders.
His magical items are pretty serious too but he doesn't have as many h2h/melee feats as your average street leveler. Time will tell though.

imo that's one hell of an accuracy feat on the first page.

Good God, Phil actually didn't lose? We sure Pak's writing that?

Oh, and "who's thy daddy now" has inspired me to make my account Herc-related.

Once he crash lands Herc was the victor. I'd dispute he also would have won if not for that random "oh look, this is all streaming live" plot device.
Then again, that's also taking into account Phil's sonic powers were underplayed LOL

I'm sure you'd love Pak/Van Lente's Hercules run right from the beginning.

If it's as fun as this, I definitely would.

The trademarks of the run were great humour by mixing pop references with mythology, and a good measure of heart.

Any new takes on the fight? For being de-powered, he's still very impressive. In the beginning he was still holding up all of that debris.

I think if we assume what has been shown so far is Herc's regular performance levels, then he can win. His accuracy, agility, strength and fighting ability are pretty powerful even though he is mortal now.

I wonder if Pak actually understands how Hobgoblin's sonic scream works, or if he purposefully is downplaying it to give Herc a chance.
