Stan 'The Man' Lee says Andrew Garfield does a "perfect" job as Peter Parker for the upcoming movie 'Amazing Spider-Man.' The legendary comic icon was on the set on the film and tweeted about the entire experience. Clearly, Spider-Man kept him safe. Apart from praising Garfield's performance, the creator of Spider-Man also said that Emma Stone makes a jaw-dropping Gwen Stacy. Last but most certainly least, Lee revealed why he was on the set. Just like most Marvel movies, Stan will have a cameo, and expect to see him on screen with Curt Connors...or the Lizard! It's nice to see Stan Lee praising a movie based on a character he holds close to his heart, but how do you guys feel about it so far? I have no major complaints about the costume. Sure, there's a lot of blue, but that change isn't going to make or break the experience (like Hal's toes, you cry babies).

Hal's toes are a totally differnet issue. Which is why I vote that Rob Liefield directs the camera, so I don't ever have to see his weird ass feet.

LOL. It's not even an issue. We saw Hal in full costume numerous times during all of the trailers and NO ONE noticed. It's only when a massive HD still was released that people had time to notice then complain. I severely doubt it will be an issue when watching the movie, unless you now purposely try to look for it, LOL.

I've been having my doubts about this movie, but if it's good enough for Stan Lee than it's good enough for me.

If I ever meet Stan Lee, I'm going to give him the best damn bropound. Seems like he'd be such a fun guy to hang around with.
Oh yeah, and Spider-Man's alright and stuff too.

There's still a different between complaining about Hal's feet and complaining about Pete's suit. The thing with Hal's feet has a reason behind it. The costume is supposed to be like a second skin for him, so it makes sense that it would form perfectly to his feet rather than just wrapping around them (though, on that same note, it would also make sense for the suit to form perfectly to his junk too, but they need to keep the movie PG-13 . Besides, everybody got their fill of that with Dr Manhattan). With Parker's costume, it's just change for the sake of change. There wasn't really any obvious reason to make alterations to his suit design.

Of course you can nitpick them and cite details, but at the end of the day both are still just minor changes in my eyes

Maybe it's just the Community fan in me talking, but a little bit of me still wishes Donald Glover had landed the role of Peter Parker.
