On a more serious note, it's good to hear Johns favours Sinestro's Fall for a future film (and I'd like to see that, as well), and that Reis will pencil Aquaman. He's such an excellent artist.

Looks like Aquaman will be there with GL and Batman books in a few months to year(s).

Don't forget the Flash, it's a top 10-15 book, too.

Yeah, Bats won't be getting anything from a match-up like that unless he drops Hal in one punch (Guy style). Anything less will make him look bad, to an extent.

The way I see it, Johns will either have Batman stalemate Hal after a prolonged fight or Hal will somehow gain the advantage at the end. Johns has a strange view of Batman, and I can never tell if he likes the character or not. In Rebirth, it was basically, "Batman is the bad guy here, not Hal. How could he be so suspicious. All Hal did was almost destroy the universe. What's the big deal?" Whereas, in some other works, Johns appears to respect Batman's methods, abilities, and character traits.
I sincerely hope Johns never has Bats kill any of his enemies though. If he does, I will hate him for life.

Hal is the most wonderful person ever.It was Parallax all along and it feeds on fear just like Batman

Whether he likes him or not, it's obvious as hell that Johns can't write Batman to save his life.
He will be writing the upcoming Batman: Earth 2 comic, so here's hoping he gets him there, but up until now every time he took Bats under his pen ended up ridiculous.

And I don't believe Hal will beat, or stalemate Batman, just he will do much, much, much better than he ever should.

Maybe I draw too heavily from Rebirth, but if Hal's sucker punch is any indication of how Johns views Batman in comparison to Hal, I think he may stalemate Bats. Could just be me though.
