Talk all you want about the man who makes Batman look like an amateur in the PIS department.

Prometheus is weird in that respect, he has epic PIS in his wins (even though I'll argue his original appearance under Morrison is valid, but CFJ was mind-blowingly bad) and epic PIS in his defeats. Even though Gates retconned almost everything away with Faces of Evil.

I assume his showing against Arsenal is considered jobbing?

Gates only retconned BOP and Hush returns, Morrison's stuff is still valid.

You mean getting beat in h2h by Roy during the flashback in Rise of Arsenal?

I haven't read it in awhile, but he didn't lose. He beats Roy, but it appeared to be somewhat balanced at times and I remember thinking "Wait a sec, isn't this guy supposed to be one of the best?!" lol

Unless they fight a second time. I'm talking about when he cuts off Roy's arm.

I kind of understand it, though. CFJ didn't not show their fight, just Roy appearing badly beaten with his arm torn off, so Krul wanted to make a badass last stand out of Roy, in retrospect.

Based on current events, everything Prometheus did post JLA: WWIII up until Faces of Evil is non valid.Hush returns has been ignored as a whole,it's massive Hush wankery and Prometheus jobbed throughout that arc and the retcon does him favours. The only thing from that arc that has been acknowledged is Joker owning Hush. An example of Hush wankery coming up,AHEM Talia captures Tommy and he escapes even though Deathstroke was standing guard

Yep, I read that. Deathstroke kind of stands there throughout the whole issue for no real reason.

Yep, I read that. Deathstroke kind of stands there throughout the whole issue for no real reason. He did the same in Under the Hood. "Look, it's Deathstroke! Don't shoot! He's a badass and he'll kill us all!" He then talks to Black Mask and never appears again. Funny conversation between the two, though.

Let's get started on what was PIS and what was'nt. The Supergirl takedown was believable in my opinion, sure it fed off her CIS but the same can be said for most fights involving Supes. The disguise/camouflage mechanism was cool as well. Donna Troy was definitely PIS. The Firestorm tkedown was PIS i guess, though i don't know enough to really judge. But Bruce did make a plan against Firestorm back in the day, albeit it was Ronnie not Jason.I'll add more.

I've read every Deathstroke issue ever, so yep, I've read Batman # 646-7, too. I ejoyed the exchange between the too, even though they were talking about Hyena's butt, haha.

I think pretty much everything during CFJ was bad writing, not just PIS. Except for beating, say, Plastic Man, or shooting Zatanna (who still had no reason to run at Prom. since her powers work just as well from distance).

I'll just copy what I said to Morph earlier: I never really liked Prometheus that much, to be honest. He was good in JLA because he wasn't too good. He keeps the League on the ropes for one issue, and then the sheer inertia of what he's done comes crashing down on top of him. Anything after that is completely worthless in my book, and CFJ was just the last straw. I especially liked how he couldn't counter Shade because he has no files on him, but when Shade tries to move one of his bombs, he finds that the bombs is designed to fucking counter Shade! LOLWUT?
