well, this is just an idea. But It might be nice to use a different lettering style between character speaking bubbles and narration.

Right but both are somewhat similar, thats what I mean. I'd suggest even more distinctive lettering for both.

I get the impression is that in an area like that, cops are the bad guys, but are they all going to be portrayed in that manner? I'm not criticizing that some are abusive and even downright racist, because let's face it, in any profession you'll find some people (regardless of their ethnicity) with that mindset---but I'm just wondering if any, aside from the guy who grew up in the region, will be decent people?

There's a reason the cops are like this. Its actually part of the plot. Later on it will be explained. There is also a reason why the guy from the area isn't affected as well. So They can't be good, because of ________ If i told you it'd spoil the story.
