For those who don't know Superman recently renounced his American citizenship, just months after Batman recruited a Muslim to be his agent in France and less than a year after Wonder woman changed her "patriotic" costume. This is ofcourse before i mention the fact that almost all the actors playing most of the big superheroes are not American.
The topic has gathered a lot of controversy with people even claiming to boycott DC comics. Thoughts?
My personal opinion is this ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

In context, don't believe it will affect what Superman stands for. He has always been there for people from every nation, despite, and in spite of distance. Even when access to Earth for every single Kryptonian residing on New Krypton was revoked, Superman was the only one still permitted to roam freely (yes, he was an emissary of NK on Earth, but so were a dozen more Kryptonians, yet the rule applied to everyone but him). Other than that, his base of operations will remain the same, his relationship to major characters will be the same, and so forth.

Being English, I quite glad of this. What is the "American Way"? Friendly fire?

I haven't read # 900 yet, but I have the issue. You'll somewhat enjoy it. I think you'll really enjoy the mini stories at the back.

You know, I can't help but wonder if this is DC playing it safe on the off chance the Superman lawsuit is resolved completely against them. For those unfamiliar, that means DC would have unrestricted rights to publish Superman only abroad.

I personally believe the day they sold Superman for $100, is the day they lost all rights to him.

I don't know if I'm more surprised by the reaction, or that you actually clicked on a thread called "Superman's citizenship".
