CoD Bioshock Fallout 3 Many others I can't think of right now. CoD has been top-notch since day one, but the story rarely makes sense LOL. How could I forget Fallout 3? That game is a masterpiece. CoD story is shit, the only good thing about it is multiplayer. Fallout 3 is made of awesome. Borderlands as well(although to a lesser extent) |

Fallout 3 is made of awesome. Borderlands as well(although to a lesser extent) The story is horrible, but it's done to such an epic scale. The music, the battles, the cinematic experiences... Given proper writing/plot, it would be the pinnacle of FPS experiences, IMO. Fallout 3 suffers the complete opposite problem. The action is good for a RPG, but for a FPS, it doesn't hold up. Thankfully, everything else is done SO well we can completely overlook that. (not to mention the FPS aspect is only a small part of the entire experience). Bordlerlands is a fucking blast. Its flawed as hell, has a stupid story and horrible ending... But the gameplay will have your hands stuck to the controller for hours haha. |

CoD's campaign has two issues.
1. As you pointed out the story itself is shit and makes no damn sense.
2. It's too short.

But on the plus side, the difficutly curve makes replay on the hardest setting pretty tough in comparison to other games. Plus, like you pointed out, the multi is top-notch and provides countless hours of gameplay once you're done with the oh-so-awesome story. |

The Gamemode. Which I'm fine with, I was playing Zombies back in Halo 2 when the entire thing ran on the honor system. |
