I've been getting a whole lot of Exiles trade paperbacks lately, and I've been absolutely loving every bit of it. However, they're not exactly Marvel's most popular or well-known team, so I may have just created a dead thread here. Anybody else a fan of the Exiles?

I've only read a handful of the title. What do you like about it?

I've only read a handful of the title. What do you like about it? The artists and writers who work on it are all fantastic. And due to the nature of the Exiles' missions, the book seems to have sort of a video game quality to it (level begins, recieve your set of instructions for that level, accomplish tasts, proceed to next level), which is strikingly different from the stories you find in any other titles.

I've always been interested in checking it out. The premise has always come off to me like a bunch of What If stories given their own series, and I think that's cool.

I've always been interested in checking it out. The premise has always come off to me like a bunch of What If stories given their own series, and I think that's cool. The really fun thing about it is that the writers don't have any restrictions. The Fantastic 4 always have to fight Fantastic 4 villians, the X-Men always fight X-Men villians, but the Exiles can be put in whatever scenario the writer wants. Fight off Galactus? Let's do it. Overthow evil Iron Man? Sure. Team up with Doctor Doom to stop evil Namor? Bring it on.

Exiles Mimic was such an awesome character. Heck yeah. And Morph too. He's one of the few comic relief characters who never seems to get annoying.

I also am a fan of the Exiles. The Stories, though self contained for the most part, allow for interesting plots while also contributing to the whole of the series. They also explore a good number of characters that aren't often examined.
