Interesting. I honestly would have thought The Avengers would be more than TDKR, especially with all the well-known actors.

Bizarre. I would have thought with all the CGI and special effects that are going to be necessary in The Avengers, plus the huge cast, it would have cost a lot more.
Then again, Nolan is known for eschewing CGI at times to go for the "real thing" which could cost more (check out the crazy rotating hallway they built for Inception. Damn.)

Maybe the Avengers are reusing a bunch of stuff from the Iron Man and Thor movies...hand me downs rule! I can see that with sets like Tony's mansion. But they cannot do that with Tony's armor. He will undoubtedly have a new armor for the Avengers movie. I would bet my socks on it.

Thor's budget was indeed $150 million. Same as all the other Marvel Studios' movies so far.
