I hate to say this but marvel needs their own crisis to erase all the trash stories that has happen in the last 10 years..
no more retconning established origins for your Sentry's type beings like Blue Marvel and so on. Just introduce them normally without insulting readers.. no more foolishness of unexplained power boost like scarlet witch and her house of M nonsense.

Marvel Comics -Better rotation of writers on long running comics -No More Events one after the other.Events should come once every other year. -Balance power levels so that uber powerful characters can escape comic limbo -Stop character bias with writers. That's supposed to be the point of an editor -No More Superman rip-offs, 6 is enough. -Stop making clone characters and mantle changes -Having 3 Avengers books when each team is essentially the same is stupid. If you're going to milk the title at least do something which each team that makes it worth a read. -Changes in powers especially when characters lose powers aren't OK. -Since you spend so much time copying DC make BETTER animated movies. They make a few of them a year and I haven't seen one bad one yet.It would be a good way to promote certain characters. -Do more with female characters
DC -Enough Retcons -Leave Dick Grayson as Batman -Don't try and copy Marvel by doing a bunch events. Most DC events suck and even worse than Marvels. -Stop making clone characters. -Stop Hiring Frank Quitely -No More "Dark\Evil Supergirl" storylines -New\More Minority Characters.

-Leave Dick Grayson as Batman I disagree totally, there is only one Batman: Bruce Wayne. Dick is not Batman.

One thing that always bugged me about Marvel is the hyper use of popular characters. Seriously, Spider-Man is on every team but the Sinister Six (I wouldn't be surprised if Marvel cut some sort of deal with DC to get him in JLA, JSA, the Titans and Batman Incorporated). The best idea is the eliminate this hyper-use since it it doesn't do anything to boost the popularity of all the books the characters are in, just detract from the character's own popularity.

Okay I would take DC and completely tear everything down and start anew and... oh wait.

I always saw Vertigo as the DC equivalent to Marvel's Epic line. As such, I think that the Vertigo/DC overlap can work if they do manage to keep it split off from the mainstream DC line, like what Marvel's been doing with the Punisher/PunisherMax comics. I also agree that the Dark Horse Heroes line needs to be brought back. Beyond that, I try not to monkey with the established universes and try to just make mine function. Yes, that's right, I created my own comics universe. You think you are the only one with a comics universe?

What I do see the problem with is when they take a character that has evolved past whatever movie plot they have going and reset the comic character to match said movie. Like Steve Rogers becoming Captain America again. I know it only is happening because of the movie because Marvel thinks people who never read the comics before will actually give a shit if Rogers is not Captain America anymore. Well to be fair, that does potentially turn off new readers. I gave my friend a recent issue of Spider-Man, and he said he didn't like it because they got so many things wrong, and by wrong he meant not the way it was in the nineties with the cartoon. It irked him that JJ was mayor and not head of the Bugle. Tried explaining to him that there's this thing called story development, but he didn't seem to listen. Some time later, he eventually came around, but still it was at that moment that I realized that it must be hard for companies to appease older readers while appealing to newer ones too. Anyway, as for my quote-unquote "universe reshaping," I'd like Top Cow to Top Cow: -Develop your cosmology -Detail your magical beings -Go deeper in what you have revealed -Detail world history -Keep on being awesome. Because that's probably the only thing that could make the amazing company even more amazing. For Marvel, I'd like "newer" and by that I mean, people other than Spidey, Wolvie, Deadpool, etc, to take to the spotlight. That said, I'd like the fans to actually give these guys a chance. The only reason we keep seeing the same three to four people on three to four different teams is because you guys simply won't get behind anything else. Read some Agents of Atlas, read some Avengers Initiative, Read some Academy, read somethin' other than your comfort zone characters. And back to Marvel, make sure the stories are good enough so they don't get canceled after 6 issues. Other than that, I'd like Marvel and DC to take note from Top Cow and just get better. As for Radical, I only want one thing, and one thing only from you guys. Stay Radical.
