What does it take to get you reading a new series?

usually good art work and story telling. the story telling is the most important to me that i will skip awesome art if the story is sub par and you guys, online comments on the story from people's whose opinion i respect.

also i avoid anything with Loeb, geoff johns and only read their stuff at barnes and noble through tpb so i dont have to purchase it.

I'll pick up anything as long as it has the right names on it. Grant Morrison, Geoff Johns, Matt Fraction, Frank Quitely, Alex Ross and Jim Lee.
