That's the point. They don't fight at light speed. That was the same interview where 'he' claimed that Gohan was the most powerful non-fused character. The whole interview is a hoax.

It's sad when people on online forums make up an interview and try to pass it off as evidence, lol. No one in Japan, the Daizenshuus, Shonen Jump mags etc. have even heard about that interview. I've read many of Toriyama-sensei's interviews, and I have all the Daizenshuus. It was a fake interview. There's no way around it.

Okay then, who do you believe to be the strongest character at the end of Dragonball Z?

Son Goku, mainly due to the 10 years of training he did, while Son Gohan wasn't reported to have done any. He was pretty much a family man during those 10 years. Vegeta was training during that time too, and he didn't seem as arrogant as before, so he might be the second most powerful.

i have to agree,Goku is the first and Vegeta the second at the end of the series
although i would say Mistic Gohan was the most powerfull non-fused character,Gohan lost this power because he stopped training, unlike Goku and Vegeta

Well there isn't any fillers so they might be finished sooner than you think. Because there was a lot of fillers. Just looked now, episodes 80odd will be in the Cell Saga and I think I remember them being in the late 100s or early 200s.

Was it Brian Drummond who did the ultimate power up against Recoome or Sabat?

It was kinda funny how Vegeta used to help/save Goku because he wanted to be the one who would defeat him. =]

That's the point. They don't fight at light speed. That was the same interview where 'he' claimed that Gohan was the most powerful non-fused character. The whole interview is a hoax. Gohan was the most powerful non fused / absorbed character. SSJ3 Goku burned energy like crazy and was getting hammered by Kid Buu, while Gohan was knocking around with Super Buu fairly easily. We wouldn't have a clue as to how much stronger Goku or Vegeta get after the 10 or more years of training it took Uub to grow up. Uub isn't exactly the best way to scale Goku's progress in strength with such a sort fight against Uub that had little to no control of the power he had, muchless anywhere close to the same versatility in power his previous form had. That's my observation. As for light speed, if they ever hit that mark they would be on the bottom spectrum in terms of that. Too much inconsistancies, like Gotenks and Piccolo getting hit by the slow as heck pink glob and absorbed, for me to say they are these uber untouchable always fighting at light speed characters I've heard fanboys try to shove in my face. The latest bit of nonsense I've heard from them is Goku having planet busting punches and the cast is more durable than planets. Or because Trunks cut machine Frieza his sword swings are more powerful than Namek's explosion, WHICH GOKU CAN BLOCK WITH HIS FINGER!
