Plus I do not know how I would feel about a portion of Gaea's soul making it with some other pantheon. Well, unless I missed something, this might not be the case with Diana after the reboot. And gods boning with other gods is pretty much required by their union. Thought honestly, I never much liked this retcon to Diana.

Yes gods do sleep with other gods but in DC, all gods from one pantheon hate those from another. Diana being the exception because well, she usually is.
I always loved the Gaea retcon. Everything Perez wrote for her is gold!!!!

Everything Perez wrote for her is gold!!!! Perez did some awesome work on Diana, a benchmark really. That thing about the Gaia soul was the only thing I didn't like as the mythology nerd I am.

Was Pandora part of Gaea's soul in actual myth?

I'd like to see a year or twos worth of story between them both. Since they will be young, they're going to be attracted to each other. But not necessarily them together, story that involves them spending time with each other because of difficult situations. They could have attractions away from each other, but find themselves closer. It doesn't mean they should be together, I just would like to see a very strong bond between them.
Like in Action Comics 818. I really enjoyed that. I believe in Grant Morrison, and know he can deliver great stories and romance. Show the light of Superman.

Was Pandora part of Gaea's soul in actual myth? no, not at all. Pandora was according to myth, the first mortal woman ever created. She was given many gifts from the gods like beauty, youth etc. Most importantly curiosity (so she would want to learn from the gods). Then afterward she was given a jar (not a box as pop culture says) containing all the evils of the world her task being to just keep it and since she was gifted with wisdom she knew what the jar was. However, her curiosity got the better of her so she opened it like a dumbass. Greek mythology doesn't have gods separating their souls, having sub-souls, avatars etc. Their gods don't operate that way.

I think I speak for Phantom and myself when I say: No Superman + Wonder Woman nonsense. Sadly, it probably will happen.

Completely agreed. Then again, I wonder if they can somehow manage to give the look new life WITHOUT completely ruining it. I have my fingers crossed.

I believe they had a Earth where Batman looked very armored up that reminded me of the movieverse. The one where Jason Todd was bouncing around with Donna Troy to alternate verses and he encountered a Bruce that goes too far.

When written properly, Diana is not a b#@%h. Case in point: Odyssey Diana. Not written properly.

So, this might be a bad subject to bring up, and the wrong place. But who considers, Batman to be a superhero? Because I consider him a hero. An awesome hero, at that.

Batman is a super-hero and a hero (you could discuss this in the general comic discussion thread or the Dc thread BTW)
