Aquaman #2 was good.
GL: NG #2 on the other hand...I have no intention of sticking with this book at the moment.

So when Arkillo knocked Kyle through the ground, Kyle was concerned about an on-coming subway train. Immediately, my thoughts were "he needs to clear those piles of rubble so the subway doesn't get knocked off the tracks and crash!" But apparently, it was just his concern over fighting down there, with no concern over the layers of debris consisting of metal, steel, pavement, and more already on the ground from him crashing through the street level.
Then, he's cool with letting it crash into Akrillo, a cosmic level threat with no remorse for killing anyone around him. If I was a hero, I wouldn't let him get hit by something populated, in fear of him essentially destroying it out of rage.
Oh, also in the first page they're on 42nd between 7th and 8th, but the next panel they're in the heart of times square, about half an avenue and 2-3 blocks away Just trollin' the art, disregard if you wish.

Hopefully I'll catch up on some reading when I get home from work.
I have more than a few #2s so far ha e only read Demon knights and Aquaman.
Both these are definitely now on my must have -pull list.
TBH I'm not sure much more will be, in another month or so I think I'll only be getting 3 or 4 DC per month.
That is of course until multiplicity comes out. That will of course hook me in for all related.

I liked JL Dark 2. At least this issue was wasted on too much art.
Like what John Constantine looks to be like. Still making my way through the 2's.

Action Comics #3 was good. Don't know whether to think it's Brainiac or something else. The art by, Ha, was amazing at the beginning. It was another very good issue. This series and Batman by Snyder are where it's at in the DCnU. |
