The gameplay and presentation for this series has been great. I really enjoyed Assassin's Creed 2 and I'm playing through Brotherhood now. Honestly, the storyline has it's pants firmly on it's head though. Favorite parts in Brotherhood - the ending and unlocking all the Glyphs -

To be honest so far I like the Assassin's Guild system. Although it could have been expanded upon much more, it feels far too automated and there is very little reward for building an army of elite assassins.

I forgot about my posse of super assassins that smoke bomb the heck out of my enemies and assasinate the lot of them. I thought the reward was watching them don the cool outfit.

This game is so good, but so overwhelming at the same time. I'm the kind of guy that has to do everything on the map, so needless to say, Brotherhood has been rather time consuming. lol

The only thing preventing me from platinuming this game is online and timed stuff, which sucks.

Yeah, I haven't even touched multiplayer. I want to, but I'm even more tempted to move on to my other games.

Yeah, I haven't even touched multiplayer. I want to, but I'm even more tempted to move on to my other games. It's not too particularly tricky as it revolves around blending in with the crowds, find you target, kill your target, avoid getting killed yourself, hiding in hay, etc. You can revisit it anyways, like I may one day do after I clear the 3 JRPG's that I've been neglecting, but as a pervert and completionist it shall be done! Some of those multi-player trophies honestly don't seem worth the trouble. I don't have much interest in trying to get into a haystack and pray that my target happens to walk across by luck. =P

So Apparently Revelations will deal with Desmond trying to repair his psyche after the events of Brotherhood, to which he must enter the Animus and once again relive Ezio's memories as he travels to Masayaf and Constantinople, looking for the seals of Altair, which will make him relive Altair's later memories in turn, making both Ezio and Altair (and Desmond, to a point) playable characters in the game. This means that Assassin's Creed has finally reached that stage in which it can be summed up in the words of the great philosopher Xzbit:

The ending for Brotherhood was so abrupt...But I guess it's okay since the game itself was so damn fun.

You're my hero for saying that. Now, if I weren't so addicted to MvC 3, I'd be playing more Brotherhood multiplayer more often.

Hopefully your completion of Brotherhood's main story means your'll be witnessing Cousin Isaac's vacation at the Sprawl. Honestly he finds himself in the craziest of situations after a night of drinking with his friends, especially that chubby guy.

Anyway, I've finished brotherhood, and frankly, I was bothered by Ezio's ending more than Desmond's. I mean, yeah, the ending was some tripping weird shit, but I'm used to that from AC by now. Ezio's ending just seemed... Random. Like there's a piece of it missing. We don't see how Cezare escapes, how he get to the battle, why he's attacking the city or why you have to kill him right there and then. We just get "OK, you're here, now kill the bastard." Seemed rushed, frankly.

It most certainly does.

So in the trailer for Revelations (which is undeniably made of awesome), there is a nice song going on in the background, too silent to make out most of the words....
Here's another version:
Needless to say, LMFAO

I actually had no idea the guy did that. When I first saw it I thought those were the actual lyrics.

Yeah he is very active on Youtube, the Literal Trailers seem to just be one thing he does for movies and games. Although I didn't know he existed till I saw his Literal DS2 trailer: He's done a ton of these including the previous brotherhood game.

To be honest so far I like the Assassin's Guild system. Although it could have been expanded upon much more, it feels far too automated and there is very little reward for building an army of elite assassins. I recently started playing it again and have all assassins at the top level except for 2 right now. It is a lot of fun, but I feel the same way. It should have been more in depth and more customizable with gear, looks, etc. What would have been really cool is if you could watch them do a mission or join them on the mission. Also, I have never failed a mission, but I imagine nothing bad comes out of it if you do either. This game is so good, but so overwhelming at the same time. I'm the kind of guy that has to do everything on the map, so needless to say, Brotherhood has been rather time consuming. lol I'm the same way. I'm obsessed with renovating everything possible and doing most things on the map, so I'll play for hours at a time and not move that far forward in the story, lol. It's like Final Fantasy 7 all over again.

Now running under the assumption that I am not the only person to play and beat Revelations on this board, time for some bumping of the thread. So Ezio's finale story has been told (You get bonus points for watching Embers to see how the Master Assassin's end comes) as well as Altaïr's, with mind you some skin chilling moments and epic speeches between the both of them, what is next for AC?
Will we be seeing a new protagonist set into the Animus(given Desmond's ancestors have already contributed enough to saving Earth as is) as with Embers hints at a possible tale told in China(which would be epic) or will Desmond finally get around to saving the day in the present(given he has what 2 apples of Eden accessible to him at this point)? I would hope Desmond finally gets around to saving the day before 2012, as I think Ubisoft mentioned something about that.
- RIP Ezio & Altaïr
