I have no idea. I think he was 10 when he left off. We only know that the first game took place over a year. So that would make him 11. We don't know if that is the same. I guess they will be, so he could be around 15 now. He still hasn't matured much. But cartoons don't really use the age affect. Like Simpsons and Family Guy.

I guess I was kind of hoping to see him in a more mature state. Did he ever become a Pokemon Master?

No. I think maybe that'll be the last series. But there isn't any signs of that happening soon. And I personally think it'll go on for another 10 years.

He's okay. But the worst thing he does is give away great Pokémon. When his Pidgeotto evolved into a Pidgeot, he gave it away. Tool!

No but Pikachu can only evolve anyway with the use of a Thunderstone. He had the choice of evolving him when he fought against Lt. Surge in the first series but he and Pikachu chose not to.

In my own series I'd have a Elekid. His evolution route is way better.

I could give you the rundown on what Eevee route could best soot you. And could narrow the other types of Pokémon you could get.

In terms of Special/Physical Defence; Umbreon is the best. 350 maximum Effort Value (EV).
Leafeon however has the best Physical Defence with a maximum defence of 394 and it also has decent speed of 317 Max Evs. It also has a good physical attack of 350 max evs. So this is not a bad Pokémon to be honest.
Glaceon's beat EV is it's Special Attack with 394, but it's speed hinders this because it's quite slow to deliver them attacks which will be crucial if you don't want to die before you get hit. It has a better physical defence than it's special with 350 Max EVs. Conclusion: Leafeon is better.
Jolteon's best stat is it's speed with 394 Max EVs. Then it's next one is it's Special Attack with 350 Max EVs. These two stats go together perfectly. You need speed with any form of attack.
Vaporeon's best stat is it's HP with a maximum of 464, which totally eclipses the rest of the Eevolutions. It's next best EV is it's Special Attack with 350. This isn't that great to go with it's HP. It would have been good if they gave one of it's defences that and not it's attack. This could have been a fortress. Especially with it's ability being water absorb which recovers HP from damage.
Flareon's best stat is it's attack with 394 Max EVs. There is many physical fire attacks nowadays so it can be good. But again, it has slow speed which to do damage. So you'll always be second best. The next best stat is it's special defence with 350 max EVs.
Espeon's best stat being a Psychic type is it's special attack with 394 and it's second best is it speed with 350. Like I said before with Jolteon, these two stats are great together. However many people use Earthquake and that just happens to be Jolteon's weakness making Espeon the best Special Attack Pokémon of the set.
Umbreon is one of my favourite. This is what most people use as a defence fortress. It's slow but that's not what you use this Pokémon for. This is for taking hits and making the best outcome for you attackers. Give this a move that recovers and it will be very hard to beat this Pokémon. It's best stat is it's Special Defence with 394 Max EVs and it's second best is it's Defence with 350 Max EVs.
So in conclusion, you want a defensive Pokémon always choose Umbreon. You want a special attacking Pokémon choose Espeon. Next best being Jolteon.
Also, do you know what the EVs are?

Wow. Maybe I just will get a new game and roll all the eevees. Jolteon used to be my favorite but that is only because I do not know the others beyond the appearance. Umbreon is a beast.

There is a Pokémon with better defence stats than Umbreon, but only one: Dusknoir with 405 for both Defences.

I bet that is a challenge to get. Are his other stats crippled due to super def?

Honestly I would evolve him into either Umbreon or Leafeon because those two are some of my favorite Pokemon. Tbh I have no idea what EVs. Heard the term before but no idea. I think I have a Dusknoir, not sure though lol

In order to get Dusknoir you must trade him while he is holding an object or when he knows a certain attack. Don't remember, it has been a while.

Yeah, but that doesn't matter. Think of it this way. If you had 405 stats for your attacks then you'll be doing normal damage to it. And this is a Ghost type so. A lot of attacks won't affect it anyway.
It's evolve forms are Duskull > (lvl 37) > Dusclops > (Trade with Reaper Cloth: Found in Route 229, Turnback Cave on P/D and on Platinum found Route 229, Acuity Lakefront, Turnback Cave) > Dusknoir.
