What do you mean by irrelevant? In battles. Are their stats pitiful compared to newer pokemon or do new games take time to adjust the stats to make them able to still compete?

Honestly I would evolve him into either Umbreon or Leafeon because those two are some of my favorite Pokemon. Tbh I have no idea what EVs. Heard the term before but no idea. I think I have a Dusknoir, not sure though lol Every Pokémon has a effort value. Pidgey has one speed point, Pidgeotto has two speed points and Pidgeot has three speed points. When you beat one of these Pokémon, you will get a Effort Point. You beat a Pidgey you will get one point. You have a Power Item, this item gives you +4 effort points. But there is a power item for each stat. You'll need Power Ankle for speed. With this item on you, you will receive 5 Speed points from that Pidgey. Now here's another trick. If your PokéRus: a virus that doubles the amount of EVs you obtain (AMAZING THIS) however it only lasts a day, you have a Pokémon with this virus out over night it'll heal. So make sure you put your Pokémon into the computer before you turn the game off. Keep a few Pokémon that you don't use with the virus in the computer so you'll have back ups. So with the Power Item you choose, and PokéRus, you'll gain at least 10 effort points from a Pokémon with one effort value. Pidgey: one Effort Value + Power Ankle = 5 Effort points + PokéRus = 10 effort points. Pidgeotto: two Effort Value + Power Ankle = 6 Effort Points + PokéRus = 12 Effort Points. Pidgeot: Three Effort Value + Power Ankle = 7 Effort Points + PokéRus = 14 Effort Points. Keep in mind every Pokémon had different Effort Values. The maximum effort points any stat can receive is 255 and the maximum a Pokémon can take is 510 effort points. So you just half that to two stats I.E. Speed and one of the attacks if you want an attacking Pokémon. Also, the nature of the Pokémon matters. If you want a physical attacking Pokémon you Pokémon must have a nature of either Adamant or Jolly. Adamant give you a boost in Attack and decreases Special Attack which is good because the attacks we'll be using will all be physical and not special. Jolly gives a boost in Speed and decreases the amount in Special Attack. Same applies for Special Attackers: You'd want a Modest or Timid. Modest boosts Special Attack and lowers Attack. Timid boosts Speed and lowers Attack. That help?

My Lucario's max Special Attack is 361. And my Pokémon has 360. How close did I get? I was like sooooo close when I got to level 100.

It basically means no ordinary Pokémon, even legendaries could beat me. The only challenge my team would have would be from Battle Frontier type Pokémon. Because they have EVd Pokémon.

First leader, I mean the person that is the last line of the people you fight. I think you fight about 7 people before you get to him/her.
