I've been considering reading Supreme Power. Now, I've been searching for the titles at my libraries. You see, my libraries have TPBs and graphic novels. Because few but me know this, I can just keep renewing until I hit the limit or somebody actually requests it (never happens). I can get all four volumes of Sandman this way. Now if I like a comic, I might buy it. I intend to eventually buy and put all four volumes on my shelf (they just look awesome).
Now, Supreme Power is this really elusive title that is nowhere to be found. I want to know if I should actually go out of my way to find it elsewhere or not. Is it any good?

I know Jake (Fury) is a big Supreme Power fan. I haven't gotten to read the series just yet, even though I'm interested to do so.

It's something I plan to do so in the future, but I'm in no hurry whatsoever.

The first 18 or so issues are outstanding IMO. After that it lost focus..the writer role shifted around...they got involved with the Ultimate Universe (aka Jeph Loeb) and it went to the proverbial shitter...
There's a new mini going right now, maybe pick up a few issues and see what you think...it's solid but the original is a great read.
