Marvel Reborn
“This is Misty Queen from channel 7 news. We are standing outside of Xavier Manor. Police have surrounded the Manor because, among other crimes, Charles Xavier, has been kidnapping mutant children and training them to be his personal army. Most recently, in a bank robbery, the 'X-man', Jean Grey, was shot and murdered after she gave her teammates cover. Xavier lashed out at the government by sending a strike team to break out his mutant general Scott 'Cyclops' Summers from Rikers Island. All the guards and human prisoners were slaughtered by the team."

Gun fire erupts from the barrier as a jet lifts off from Xavier Manor. Then the whole plot of land owned by Xavier is pulled out of the ground and both the jet and the manor fly off towards New York City. Misty Queen is in utter shock.

"This is Misty Queen and the X-men have taken off from their base and headed towards New York City. We will keep you up to date with this story as things develop."

An hour later over New York City

“This Misty Queen again, the Xavier Manor is slowly going towards New York City. They have multiple mutants that have arrest warrants all over the world. I just got word that the United States ordered three jets to take off and fly over the jet and the manor.”

The camera zooms up on the flying mansion as jets fly up next to it. The camera man pans back to Misty Queen, ”I have just got reports that the United States of America have offered Charles Xavier and his X-men ten minutes to hand themselves over to the authorities before they use force. OH MY GOD, FRED, LOOK AT THE MANSION!!!”

The camera zooms in to see three people; two holding onto the backdoor of the mansion, and one out front. There is a pause, the three men release blasts from their bodies and they incinerate the jets. A giant portal opens up in front of the jet and both the Xavier Manor and the jet fly into the portal.

“This is Misty Queen and you just saw a violent action by the X-Men against the United States……. I just heard that the United States will be launching a missile to destroy the mansion and the jet when they find where the portal goes.… We will now be cutting to President Robert Kelly, who will address the nation about our current situation.”

Every single television screen in the US cuts to a nervous President Kelly. “My Fellow Americans, you have seen, over the last few hours the mutant populations have been rebelling and Charles Xavier is trying to flee the United States to avoid persecution of the numerous heinous crimes him and his team have committed. We will go wherever in the world he is to stop him and bring this evil man to justice.”

President, Robert Kelly walks of stage,” Get Nick Fury on the phone now!” Thirty seconds later Kelly was handed a phone.

“Agent Fury speaki—“

“Fury we need a team of super humans put together right now that can go in, get Xavier and bring him in, pronto!”

“I will activate the Avengers Initiative. I can have them prepared in four hours. They will extract Xavier from Genosha and bring him to the SHIELD Hydrobase.”

“Alright Fury, if you mess this up your career is done for.” President Kelly slammed down his phone.


SHIELD Hydrobase

Fury turns from the phone to his top agent, the Black Widow, Natasha Romanoff. “Widow, start the Avengers Initiative….”

X-Men Reborn 1

A portal opens up over a plot of land on the small island nation of Genosha. The mansion and jet land. Hundreds of mutants walk outside of the Xavier Manor ready to make a fresh start in this new country. Charles Xavier walks out of the jet with his closest followers meeting the eager crowd of mutants.

“Welcome mutants to the land of fresh starts, Genosha! My dream has always been to help the mutant race. We set up this nation is to help people, our people, find a safe haven to eat, sleep and learn in. As some of you know the X-Men and I liberated the mutants on this island nation a few months ago from the human dictatorship that was in place. With a lot of hard work, we built up the economy, the infrastructure, and the defense systems. Now we will rule this island and make it a safe haven for all mutants and their families. We will all have a job to do here. We will decimate all threatening forces from the outside, and we will let them know that we are Homo Superior and that we are here to stay!!”

All the mutants roared in celebration. Xavier and his core team follow him through the Mansion and into the lower levels of the mansion. The team sits down in the war room with Xavier sitting at the head.

“All right team, we have a ton of work to do to bring life into this place. Raven you will take Kurt to Chicago, inside the Morlock’s former tunnels and wait a week for any other mutants or their families who want to come to Genosha. Scott, Ororoe, and your brothers will create a lake where we will gather water for the institute here and for the capital city. Storm you will create a gaint rain storm over the lake to fill it up. Warren, Robert, and Armando, you guys will be interacting with our students by helping them control their powers. Cain and Anna, you two will come with me as we address our population with about the Genoshan military. Alright everyone off to work we have a lot more to do. Cain, I will meet you and Anna out front in ten minutes.”

The inner circle of Xavier’s group leaves. Charles sits down in front of a computer and brings up a camera.

“Hello, Rook? Are you there?”

A young man sits down infront of the screen,” Hello, King. I see we got ourselves a situation with the United States Government.”
“Well I had Mr. President wrapped around my finger until the event. We are in Genosha now making it a mutant nation, where humans will one day live in peace or at least that is what I am telling all the other people. How is your father, the Black Bishop?”

“Well he still thinks that we will one day take over the club with me as the White King and him as the Black King. As we both know that day will never come, poor guy,” the man laughs evilly. “Well, King, I am signing off. Keep me up to date with what is going on. Goodbye, my King.”

“Goodbye, Rook.”

Avengers Reborn 1

SHIELD Hydrobase

A phone rings at the SHIELD headquarters, “Director Fury speaki—“

Natasha turns around; she knows that Nick hates being cut off. She can tell it is important because he is holding back his anger.

“I will activate the Avengers Initiative. I can have them prepared in four hours. They will extract Xavier from Genosha and bring him to the SHIELD Hydrobase.”

Natasha knows what that means. Fury turns from the phone to her, the Black Widow, Natasha Romanoff and says, “Widow, start the Avengers Protocol….”

Right away she knew what that meant. She sat down in front of a computer and brought up tons of files on super humans. Fury picked up a pad and sorted through different files of recruits they have talked too over the past ten years. After ten minutes Fury has his team picked. He makes a call on his cell phone and say,” Barton, report to the war room in 5 minutes.” He proceeds to hang up and turns to Natasha.

“Okay, Natasha, here is who I have right now,” as Fury brings up five pictures on the display screen,” I need you to go retrieve this recruit; Rick Jones, a young man living in Los Angeles, he has quite a temper so do not aggravate him. I dispersed a set of agents to keep a close eye on him until you get there.”

Natasha nods and looks at the file. Fury stares at her for a second,” Romanoff, get on a Quinjet now!”

As Natasha leaves, Agent Clint Barton walks into the room. “What do you need, Fury?”

“Sit down and listen up, Barton. We started the Avengers Protocol about half an hour ago. We will be deploying the team we are setting up will be deployed to Genosha and bring Charles Xavier back to the Hydrobase. You and Widow will lead the team. I will give the team more details when everyone is brought in. I’m sure you remember Hank Pym, his wife, Janet Pym, and Pym’s android, Vision, from Vegas a couple years ago,” Barton rolls his eyes,” Well I want you to bring them in for the mission we are about to go on”

Barton grabs the files Fury put on the table, “Will do Director.” Barton walks out of the War room.

Fury leaves the war room. There is one last recruit that Nick wanted to talk to himself, the Super Soldier, Steve Rogers. He walks into the training room and sees one of his men go flying through the air. When he steps in further there are several other men strewn through the room. Then Steve walks over and helps some of the men up,” and that is how you all properly take care of multiple combatants. Hey, Nick, how are you today?” Fury and Steve had been friends since the Second World War. They were both in Operation Rebirth; Fury received slowed aging, while Steve got the full super soldier package and with that the mantle of Captain America. “Have you seen the news about Charles Xavier, Steve?”

“I’m afraid I have. Is this what this visit has to do with?”

“President Kelly has asked SHIELD to form a team to retrieve Xavier and bring him to justice for the crimes he has committed. I want you, Natasha, and Barton to lead a few heroes into Genosha and capture him.”

“Alright, Nick, how soon will we be meeting up in the war room?”

“We will as soon as Natasha and Barton get back with some of our recruits.”
