Writer: Paul Dini Artist: Carlos D'Anda Editor: Jim Chadwick Rating: 9/10 Batman: Arkham City, the sequel to Batman: Arkham Asylum, one of 2009's top rated games, looks to be a blockbuster. DC is obviously banking on this, as using a five-issue series a prequel for a video gameisn't the sort of publication you'll likely find monthly. Here's a quick peek (looks like Black Mask at 0:26): www.youtube.com/watch?v=-V1ZF5cNYCsThe actual comic immediately paints new mayor Quincy Sharp out to be what he really is: an insecure, rattled old man who doesn't have the attributes for such a glorified position. On top of appearing to lack any kind of genuine self-confidence: he's being mind-controlled by a trusted "psychologist." This becomes the theme of the rest of the issue, as the real antagonists of this particular issue are used as red herrings by this same "psychologist." What we do know (based on the opening): it certainly isn't Joker or Two-Face. The titan formula, in fact, has helped paint Joker as more vulnerable than ever before. So who is this "psychologist?" Hopefully we'll find out next issue.

Regardless if you're interested in purchasing the game or not, absolutely.

I love the game. First game I got a platinum on my PS3. The next one is on top of my most wanted games list.
