As I sit here watching Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, a curious question came to mind. What is the worst movie you chose to watch even knowing how bad it is (or was reported to be)?

The Last Airbender. It was a giant steaming pile of maggot-ridden moose s**t from beginning to end. Seemed to me like it was very similar to the cartoon from the clips that I have watched online. Not at all. The story was changed in several ways in the film, but not in good ways. Not to mention the acting was down right terrible and the action scenes left much to be desired. The only thing The Last Airbender had going for it was visual effects. Now when we compare that to the TV show, they are polar opposites. The characters have depth and great personalities. They are believeable and endearing. The voice acting was great as well. The fight scenes are awesome in the show, but the thing that makes avatar such a hit is the combination of those 2 and the humor that the characters produce. There are many moment in the series where I lol'd and I'm sure others did as well. |
