Doctor strange?! Sorcerer supreme?! New title?!? marvel.com/news/story/16252/its_either_in_you_or_its_notHELL YES!!! Assuming these teasers are alluding to new titles for iron fist and doctor strange, all we need is a nova title now and I'll be the happiest comic book fan there is.

I'd be happy with them. I'd want a Taskmaster on going. I know a Daredevil one is coming. So I'll be happy with them.

This is great news if it's indeed a series of new on-goings (Iron Fist, Doc Strange so far), and not a new team book or something.

Yeah I agree. Doubtful they would be minis either the way they are promoting them.

He's got a script turned in for his 2013 movie, should be fairly interesting to see how they work him into the Marvelmovieverse.

Marvel better higher some new writers for Doctor Strange, or its going to fail miserably. Now that 'Conan the Barbarian' is getting ripped by critics for shitty writing all around, there's no hope that the writing duo of Thomas Dean Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer can turn in a good Doctor Strange script. Re-writes and new screen writers now Marvel!! Here's Oppenheimer's writing credits...Donnelly has the same since they've worked on every movie together: www.imdb.com/name/nm0649191/

Going to hopefully see Conan tomorrow to see if it's as bad as critics say it is, hoping my boy Jason Momoa impresses. On that note, Strange seems to be getting his sorcerer grove back on in recent books.

Absolutely. I've been saying Marvel needs to bring their A+, Iron Man, game to this property, or else it can end up very poorly.
When the Tomato-Meter is that low on RT, a virtual unanimous panning of the movie, it absolutely will be as bad as the critics say it is. You may end up enjoying certain aspects of it, but in the end no matter how much you enjoy it, you probably won't be able to deny that it is not a good movie, lol. That's what I've found with my experience. I have heard that Momoa at least looks good as Conan.
I've been thinking that for a little while about Stephen. People love to bash him, but he's still got some bad ass magic up his sleeves. Nothing like he used to, but he can still bring it when he needs to. I just hope he goes back to Sorcerer Supreme as soon as possible though myself.

Could someone explain to me why it's so important for Strange to be Sorcerer Supreme? I honestly, just wanna see more good stories of him. Give him another mini, or an ongoing. I personally couldn't care less about how powerful he is.

I personally couldn't care less about how powerful he is. It isn't important for Strange to be the Sorcerer Supreme, it's just more so he should be. People want to see him floating around decked out of his usual outfit and magical trinkets that comes with the title and being the to go guy for all things magical in the MU(albeit he is shaping up to be this regardless). It's more like people wanting Steve to be Cap or Bruce to be Batman, the Sorcerer Supreme title belongs to the good Dock Strange.

I personally couldn't care less about how powerful he is. For one, he hasn't had a good story since he was the SS that I'm aware of. Two, similar to what Hellos said. When he is SS, he is an extremely relevant character that means something. He's important to the happenings and goings-ons on Earth and in the cosmos. Right now, he's just hanging out with the New Avengers, not doing anything special. That might change when Defenders comes out, but we'll see. Plus, I like seeing him as supremely powerful. That's his character.
