That's the obvious. However, I never like going for the obvious. It's pretty much the fact, according to the trailer. Different people take it different ways.

There was hardly even anything in that trailer and it still has me fired up! I can't wait!

Well that's why it's a teaser trailer. I prefer them. Best one I've seen is the Transformers teaser.

Bane's mask design is growing on me. I'm kind of liking it...

Especially considering he probably inhales venom through the mask.

I can't say I like it, but the design makes sense if that's how venom operates in the movie.

I think you should have a Bane theme for the film.

I can't say I like it, but the design makes sense if that's how venom operates in the movie. what doesn't make sense is that venom would operate as an inhaled vapor *science muscle twitching*

I'm pretty sure there are substances and medications which can be absorbed through the lungs. most asthma drugs work like that. Why would venom be so implausible?

Ehh...the mask is aight, nothing great. Got chills when I saw it in the theatre before Harry Potter.

Why would venom be so implausible? *puts on his sciency hat* It's not that it's completely implausible, theoretically speaking. It's that the category of chemicals with immediate effect on muscle, nervous and cardiovascular systems are much more fast acting and effective if administered in the blood stream directly. This is why steroids are usually injections or pills. PCP is an example.

That makes sense. I suppose there's a reason why they'd introduce it through the mask. Maybe his skin is stronger than steel in this version. ;D
But it's not like these movies are terribly accurate either. Begins' entire plot is based on a complete scientific fallacy.

Lol yeah, especially considering that it's a completely made up drug that has completely over the top effects. none of this has anything to do on how the human body operates and would be why and injected or swallowed drug would make more sense.

A hallucinogenic gas effect while none that are discovered so far work like the fear toxin in the movie is not implausible at all actually. Since nerve attacking gases are very much established weapons of chemical warfare *sciency hat still on*

Since nerve attacking gases are very much established weapons of chemical warfare *sciency hat still on* That's not it. The movie hinges on the fact that they've been dumping the thing in the water supply for weeks, and in the end they plan to vaporize the entire water supply at the same time, exposing the whole city to it at once. Except that if it was in the water for weeks, everyone who took a hot shower or boiled some tea would have been exposed to the effects. Cases would begin to appear the minute they put the first batch in, and soon the contamination would have been discovered, rendering their plan moot.
