Does one consider Jason Todd a villain or anti-hero at this point?

Needs to be in order. Sorry.

I consider him an anti-hero.

A lot of his tactics are questionable, even for an anti-hero. For example, he had a highway (or was it track?) rigged with explosives to use as a ploy to escape Batman and Robin. He does this fully aware Batman will be able to disable it, but does a true anti-hero really resort to that measure? I don't think so, personally.

But does he go out to hurt innocent people like most villains? Does he kill for fun? They're qualities I don't see in him much. And they're qualities I would describe as villainous.

Alright, I rearranged them in order. I probably forgot some rogues I'm big fans of, but those are the first ten who came to mind.

Yeah, I view Todd as an anti-hero too. Otherwise, he'd probably have been on my list.

Venom didn't, but he was most certainly a villain. The point is it's difficult to label Jason Todd. In his mind, he's a hero, but his displays walk the line between anti-hero and villain.

What makes Venom a villain then?

He won't be on my list and I won't derail any further, but I think it's a good discussion for another thread (regarding anti-heroes).

It would be good.
I was only asking because the answer could have made it more clear where Jason would be.

What makes Venom a villain then? Stop derailing your own thread! lol (clearly skewed and evil objective (kill Spider-Man at all costs), was willing to take lives if needed <authority figures such as security forces, etc>)

Venom is a villain of Spider-Man, but a clear anti-hero beyond that.

At first I was going to say, list your favourite villains. But that was too easy.
