Some of my favorite issues of SS actually focused on the squad's support staff. I loved the one that was entirely about the psych team (cause all the team members are a little nuts)

Oh Ostrander, do please come back and write awesome comics again. Before I read Suicide Squad, my opinion of him wasn't great. The issues of Catwoman that he wrote weren't very good. |

I've never read those. I didn't even know he wrote Catwoman. However I loved his runs on Spectre and Martian Manhunter, as well as his Legends miniseries, and Suicide Squad has been awesome, start to finish, so I think he makes up for it.  |

Other than Suicide Squad, I'm not much of an Ostrander fan. He killed off Terra for shock value. I was not pleased.

I also loved his Spectre , the Legends mini, Firestorm, the Deadshot mini, Heroes for hire (being an IF fan) and one of my favorite short lived titles the 88 Mark Shaw Manhunter series. Ostrander is definitely one of my favorite writers. I'd definitely say there's a lot more of his work I love than have any miss givings about. |
