@silver I could write a top 5 with just Batman. But I'll keep it variety-style and limit it to one per character.
In no order:
Batman: Year One Thor: Son of Asgard Superman: Birthright Silver Surfer: Requiem Green Lantern: Rebirth
@k4tz Probably Deadpool. Honestly Cable doesn't have a lot of good supporting characters. Kaine and Sinsear are entertaining for fights but as characters they have very little depth.

I figured as much, which is exactly why I asked. His supporting cast seems to be lacking and I imagine his run relied on cameos.

@k4tz yeah, honestly Cable doesn't have that many memorable characters. In X-Force there is a few but in Cable's solo books not really many except X-Man.

What are your thoughts about Mark Ruffalo as the new Bruce Banner?

Am I insane for thinking Captain America: The First Avenger is the worst Marvel Studios movie?

The Marvel Studios movies have been Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Incredible Hulk, Thor, and Captain America.

@silver I have never read a New Republic novel sir. By and large, the NR era is just good story arc after good story arc, and the best story arcs are in the books. The novels are just great reads if you even have the chance to read them. Thoughts on digital comics?

@silver I think digital comics are a step forward. A lot of people want to view comics on their handheld devices, ipads, etc. Sometimes it's a lot more convenient for people, i.e. I like over 30 minutes from the nearest comic book store and it happens to be populated entirely by mutants.
But I know for a lot of us we'd rather have a book in our hand. Physical printed books do have a certain appeal that digital comics don't.

Eh, I prefer physical copies of comic books. I already spend enough time staring at the computer monitor. Plus, I can't seem to read through comics with art I don't like on a monitor. Amplifies my eyes' pain. it happens to be populated entirely by mutants. Wha?

I mean ghoulish, strange, obese and generally poorly bathed individuals.
Not the awesome mutant kind like the X-Men.

Best is subjective. I think my favorite is Knightfall. I was thinking of reposting it here after my MGS scenario. Agreed on the thread and the thought of reposting. Will give me the chance to finish the scenario, IIRC I was just over half way through. I had plans for a few more but the only way I could think of to succeed in Miller Harbour (mission wise) is a suicide mission (take out the bad guys but sacrifice my character to do it)

My nearest is 30 min's away also (and usually very poorly stocked if you don't want to pay for comics 3 months in advance) the next closest is 1 hour and 20 minutes away.
