Comics: Ed Brubaker Books: J.K. Rowling
Keeping in mind there are at least 5 for each that could occupy the top spot.

What do you think of Mark Ruffalo as the new Bruce Banner?

I don't think he will be as good as Ed Norton. I'm open to the possibility of him being good but I don't see him as the best fit for the role. It takes some real acting chops to bring to life a character like Bruce Banner.

Man, that is a tough question. I have pre-ordered about 4 video games in the past few days. More than I have ever pre-ordered.
It definitely comes down to Batman: Arkham City and Star Wars: The Old Republic. As weird as it sounds, I think for the amount of time I spend in it Arkham City will be the higher quality game. But I'll play it for much, much less time. I'm looking forward to SW: TOR more because I know Arkham City will be great. If that makes sense. I know it'll be good because I've read the story they're building on in the comics (Batman: Arkham City #4 is out if you haven't read it, it's great.) and so far it's absolutely top shelf. I know the gameplay will be great. Arkham City is a sure-fire 5/5 game and no one who buys it will be disappointed.
I can't say that categorically with SW: TOR because it might be complete crap. I don't know yet. But I'm totally psyched that someone will do a Star Wars Universe that you can engage with and not just experience but help build and shape the events in that timeline.
Honorable mentions, my life will probably be complete after I finish Mass Effect 3. That's a wrap for me.

Who do you enjoy debating the most at the ledger?

Do you mean which character or which user (against)?

If Daredevil or Steve Rogers had to die (for good), who would you pick and why?

Do you mean which character or which user (against)? Both and both. Character (For and Against) and User Yes, I just made that question difficult

@strafe I probably like debating with Steve Rogers the most. He has a lot of great feats. Although I enjoy reading Batman more, there is so many gray areas with Batman that it becomes difficult to define what makes sense and what doesn't.
I probably like debating most against k4tz or Morph. Though everyone on CL is really mature about debating on the whole. I like a battle to be as much of a learning experience (i.e. listening to what is said) as it is about teaching (having someone else listen to what you're saying). It's the most respectful and productive way of doing things and it feels as much like a celebration of the characters in question as it is about proving who is right and wrong.
@k4tz Tough choice. I'd immediately say Steve Rogers just because I think Bucky is both competent and enjoyable to read as Captain America. I think Matt Murdock couldn't truly be replaced as Daredevil. Though it'd be interested to see who would try to. Iron Fist, Echo, maybe even a deranged Bullseye would all come to mind. Battle for the Horns style.

I'm not sure how deserving I am of such dedication. I'm not even sure what that would involve.

If you were a mutant would you side with Magneto or Xavier?

Discribe the Lightsaber you could imagine yourself wielding and the style you would use.

Painkiller I think morally it's easy to say Xavier. As much as I would want to be a badass about things in truth I always pick the option that is the absolutely correct one as well as I can judge. That sounds fairly dramatic but it's also strangely true. I put other people before me and I really can't handle letting down people I care about. Xavier is a lot closer to truth and justice than Magneto. Having said that, if you were a mutant in the Marvel Universe you could easily have experienced something that gave you a militant view of other people. It wouldn't be hard to see Magneto's point of view as a mutant. But doing what is right is usually the harder thing. @strafe I would probably use a green bladed saber with a semi-ornate hilt. I don't like some of the movie hilts that look like a piece of steel pipe with some red buttons on them. It doesn't seem like an elegant weapon. Having said that I would never use a curved or overly ceremonial design because they seem impractical. In terms of style I would probably say a combination of Form IV (Ataru) and Form V (Shien). Both are aggressive and make use of force powers to augment physical attacks. I think while for a person who had a rather weak connection to the force this may not be possible. But to have the force and not use it in saber combat is really a very limiting thing. Also, for the years that I played JK3 it was judged that I employed that style of combat most frequently. To further elaborate, I like the look of some of the TOR concept art. Probably something like this:
